“A good tight game all round. with the game going down to the wire, before the elves secured their second win.
A long opening drive from the humans was almost spoiled by the boys and girls in green, but they couldn't quite pull it off, with the humans scoring moments before the halftime siren. The high elves came out of the locker room full of energy however, and quickly leveled the score. They then threatened to score again when they blitzed the opposing line and swarming on the ball, with some quality defense stopping them from making another quick score. However the ball stayed down that end of the field for the whole half, until Havan finally capped off the game with his second td.
Twahnlows:
3 Points: Cap'n Wally Pegleg - scored the opening td (eventually) and spent the second half scrambling to hold onto the ball. top quality work all round, just ran out of friends around him.
2 Points: Musket Ball Clive - Did his best to get stuck in, but wasn't rewarded with a casualty.
1 Point: Cowerin' Syd Dawkins - Another player who gave 100%, but got nothing out of it, unlucky boy.
