“Arnold reports: We met the Highborn without our trusty Brute, and struggled a bit more on the defensive this time. The Highborn started with the ball, but even though Sun Dancer started with a failed block, we couldn't prevent their TD halfway into the first half. At least Antonella had manaaged to poke two fingers into Caradryan's eyes, sending him off the pitch for at least two games. Luigi and Teclis Shadow Walker had also been knocked off. We opened our offensive drive by smashing Finubar's ankle. The apo came running onto the Field, and declared Finubar dead. Enrico got a bit upset about that. He had hoped for a vendetta, but no such thing... Vyrion knocked himself silly on a going for it, so we had a free run for it. Our temporary, Giovanni, passed the ball to Annalisa, who only needed to run in the TD. Her second in two games. There were still some time left on the clock and we positioned ourselves for the next drive, when the rain started to pour down. However, Alariel cannot make the pass to Teclis, and the half ends with 1 TD to each of the teams.

Second half starts With the Higborn one man... uh, elf...down, and we are receiving the ball. Our game plan is easy, proceed slowly and hit any elf that gets within range... The ball lands in a bad position for us, but some fancy footwork from Giovanna and we have picked the ball out of a bad spot. Unfortunately, while prcncing around, she forgot to watch Sun Dancer, who sacked her from behind and stunned her, while Menetheus picked up the loose ball. The Highborn proceeded to switch sides, but I managed to trip Menetheus on a critical Dodge which allowed Giovanni to recover the ball. Evander dived into Giovanni from the side, and both man and elf went crashing down, but Antonella kept her cool, grabbed the bouncing ball and ran with it. The Highborn didnt' even try, and Antonella decided to run in the TD. Still some time left on the clock, but we had more and better players on the Field, and even though Sun Dancer caught a great pass from Alariel and theratened a run for the endzone, I pushed myself to the utmost and sacked him, With help from Annalisa. The fans threw the ball to the midcircle, and when Giovanna finally recovered the ball, she didn't have time enough to run With it for a TD.

Game ended 2-1 and we managed our second win. Are now placed second in the League, but with one less game than the leaders. I'm satisfied with my players today. They are showing great form, and Giovanna has become a fan favourite (scored the MVP in both games played so far). Since we got the Brute back, we had to let Giovanni go. Sad. He had some promise, and good hands. Best play of the day was my sack of Sun Dancer at the end of the second half that prevented a Miracles equaliser and secured the game for us. Rumours has it that the Highborn were so disgusted With their loss that they packed up and went home, retiring from the league.
