I've never had guard on a gutter, but I've seen how useful it can be on woodie catchers, so let the experiment begin!
So far, it has been a smashing success! Opponents continually forget to check for guard on a gutter, leading to a lot of errors in assist counting. Add in increased strength now, and this can only get better!
In an absolutely amazing game, Xbow looked around and realized there were only 2 rats still standing vs an entire chaos roster. So he took it upon his shoulders, and two cas and the game winning score later, allowed himself to take a break. Damn, I'm glad he's on my side!
After avoiding passing/scoring for fear of aging, I finally just went ahead and got my next skill. Boy, am I glad I did! No aging and mutating foul appearance! Thank you, Nuffle!
Refused to age at 76 spp! We have a hero, ladies and gentlemen!
