Song Of Realm Riders
P [L] Bretonnian

he noble knights and the most illustrious lords
Answered the call of Sir Balerion Bigos.
They formed together the order of "Realm Riders"
To conquer the world of Bloodbowl for the Lady's glory.
Their courage and mastercrafted armor
Will be for every foe an obstacle insurmountable,
Behold the Realm Riders who swore to their ladies' hearts
That they will return only when they bring the Snot Trophy

Chapter I

f the brave knights of the Realm I sing,
Who faced the students of the Nuln,
In their first match of chivalry,
They rode with courage and with glee.

But soon they met a dreadful sight,
The students hurled their bombs of might,
And caused confusion in the ranks,
And broke the knights' heroic flanks.

The knights, dismayed, could not advance,
They dug themselves in their stance,
And waited for the horn to blow,
To call for help from Charlemagne.

or the second half We came out with pride,
For the score was in their favor and they had the tide,
But Sir Jean-Claude, a knight so bold,
Got into a quarrel with the referee, who was stern and cold.

The referee, offended, did not let it go,
And punished him with banishment, which was unusual,
And said: "Let Sir Jean-Claude leave this field,
For there is no place here for such a braggart."

The knights, saddened, lost their brother,
For Sir Jean-Claude was loyal and able,
And they feared that without him they would not cope,
For the students were strong and clever.

hen They brought a dreadful beast on wheels,
That breathed out fire and caused terror and ills,
And trampled to death one of the peasants,
Who served the knights with loyalty and presence.

The opponents took away a point from us,
But our brave squire also scored a point thus,
And secured us a draw in the end,
And showed his valor and skill to defend.

Chapter II

nights rode forth on beaten field,
in noble quest, their fate unsealed,
Gainst wretched fiends in black arrayed,
with monsters fierce, their teeth like blades.
In battle's dance, their courage shone,
through darkest night, till dawn's first tone,
With valor's heart and steel in hand,
they claimed the victory o'er the land.

rave knights fought the plague with might,
yet the vile tide flowed through the night,
One by one, the valiant fell,
to the barber-surgeon's care, they'd tell.
The half-time toll, a score of dread,
with foes ahead, the knights bled red,
Yet hope remained within their sight,
for glory's call, they'd reignite the fight.

ith flames in heart, their oath in mind,
the knights charged forth, their foe to find,
They broke the ranks, a foe laid low,
upon the ground, his end was show.
The beasts confused, turned on their kin,
in frenzied bite, their nerves wore thin.
Sir Alone with ball did dash,
for maiden's honor, scored a flash.

CHAPTER III

he knights reached the field they were amazed,
They saw no grass, no goals, no other team,
They only saw a forest dark and dense,
That filled the air with whispers and with screams.

But then the forest revealed its true form,
It was a horde of wodden-man, fierce and strong,
They wielded clubs and axes made of wood,
And smashed the knights with fury and blood.

The knights fought bravely but they were outnumbered,
They tried to retreat but they were encumbered,
By the fallen trees and the wounded men,
They prayed for a miracle to happen.

ut then Lord Bigos blew his horn again,
To give his comrades courage and strength,
And then the peasants showed their powerful arms,
They ripped two trees to shreds with no qualms.

The trees were frightened and they gave some ground,
Lord Bigos seized the ball and ran around,
The trees angrily whispered "STOP!" but none could catch him up,
He dodged them all and scored a point with skill and luck.

The knights and peasants cheered and praised his name,
They thought they had the victory in their grasp,
The knights were shocked and they saw a terrible thrill,
A doctor came and said that Sir Roland was ill.

he trees attacked and beat and hacked,
But the knights did not yield the ground,
Sir Sylvester was thrown into the stands,
He suffered dreadful pains as the cruel fans crushed his bones.

The referee allowed it as "these are the rules",
Who stands near the edge risks harm,
The trees were in despair as time flew by,
The knights with their last might did not let them tie the score.

The game was over and the knights had won,
They cheered and hugged and thanked the Lord,
But then they saw Sir Roland lying still,
They wept and mourned and sang a song.

CHAPTER IV

he knights, emboldened by their victory,
Set forth to Nordic lands with valour high,
To face the famed Valkyries in glory,
And prove their worth to Odin in the sky.

But one of them was missing from their band,
Sir Alone, who still was healing from his wounds.
He wished to join his brothers in this land,
But fate had other plans for him so soon.

To even out their odds, they hired then
A brave and skillful mercenary knight,
Whose name was Thorrson, feared by many men,
And who could wield his barrel with deadly might.

f Thorsson's fiery heart, the wrath doth burn,
For glory's sake, his fervent loyalty doth yearn;
Valkyries above, with mournful gaze they weep,
As into battle strides, his burdened barrel deep.

Yet in that moment, fickle fate did intervene,
The barrel toppled, shattering, unforeseen;
And one Valkyrie, in her sudden fall,
Became a tale untold, a legend to recall.

Peasants, like a wild horde, with merciless zeal,
Did seize upon the Norse maidens, their fury unhealed;
But knights, with silent ire, watched with veiled disdain,
Deeming it the cost, to victory attain

aidens call upon a troll, mighty and grim,
With skin as hard as stone, eyes searching, dim.
But Lord Balerion Bigos, in righteous fire,
With a mighty blow of his fist, does the beast retire.

As the troll is carried off, its wounds laid bare,
Lord Bigos seizes the ball, with skill and flair,
And scores a point, in honor of the lake's fair maid,
To whom his loyalty and valor are paid.

Realm Riders triumph two to none, their victory bold,
Away they ride, to face the darkness cold,
In Sylvania lands, where evil lies in wait,
They ride forth, undaunted, to meet their fate.

CHAPTER V

n Sylvanii's depths, where dread foes await,
Powerful vampires and their undead legions, full of hate,
Yet the knights' hearts, brave and true,
Fought valiantly against the undead's dark hue.

ord Bigos, with his fist, a vampire did smite,
Creature flee to its coffin, whimpering in fright,
Vampires scattered, swift but flawed,
Unable to touch the ball, tripping over their own fraud.

ut as the second half dawned, dark forces rose,
Peasants scattered, in terror's throes.
Jean-Claude fell, but miraculously escape death maw,
And Lord Bigos Yelled ""ALL RIGHT, We'll call it a DRAW!"

CHATPTER VI

n times of strife, with honor bright,
Knights of Bigos seek valor's light,
To Halfling lands, they ride with might,
With Baconbreath aid, their cause unite.

n battle fierce, the enemy relentless,
Goblins' cunning, beasts with teeth so ferocious,
Fear grips the knights, as chaos ensues,
Yet Lord Bigos, wounded, but renewed.

ortune favors us, in our dire plight,
Lord Bigos intercepts the ball, with skill and might,
Foes cannot grasp him, swift as a gale,
In Lady's glory, we sing our our tale!

CHAPTER VII

pon the field, the knights convene,
Their final match, a sight unseen,
Against the demons of plague's dread,
"pray to the lady", knight loudly said.

he demons, fierce and vile they stand,
Spreading plague, across the land,
Peasants tremble, in panic's sway,
Yet a beam from heaven drives them away.

he judges ponder, what to do,
With no opponents, victory is true,
Lord Bigos's task, now complete,
But the battle for the cup, soon to greet.
