So did Sotek and his priests on the Blacke Isle. And, of course, they brought their Blood Bowl legionnaires with them: The Starbridge Prophets who have come all the way from Axlotl, deep within the Amaxon jungles, to occupy one of Black Isle League's precious and highly coveted slots, received a coldhearted welcome by the fans! The Prophets claim to be direct descendants of the ancient sentinels of Starbridge, a legendary observatory hidden in the Black Coast Mountains, and therefore its legitimate heirs, seeking wisdom and truth through clandestine gates left by the old ones. Sadly, and most unbelievably for that, most malevolent and impudent rumours persist that even this proud and regal reptilian race has degenerated to an extent that its representatives seem to seek blood, glory on and Black Isle League championships rather than divine wisdom and insight! |
