Former open [L] tournament team

The Cardinals are one of the first true champions of Blood Bowl, emerging victorious at a Nehekara state championship some 4000 years ago. After this however, the team spiralled downwards in a series of bad management and player re-recruitment and was subsequently put to rest 40 years after claiming their title. The team has now brought in foreign pro coach Odium Khan in a try to revive the team almost 4 millennia after their disbanding. Talk about a comeback!


The Khemri Cardinals transfered to the tournament division on the 6th of February 2005. Their coach Odium Khan promises their fans lots of action (they had trouble finding some in the ranked division) and the team is currently part of the Orca-Cola Cup Series. The Cardinals took the place of the Entropy Allstars when mixed race teams were banned from the cup series.

Between 2005 and 2012, the Cardinals were buried in a sand dune following a windy practice game vs the Lost Ark Raiders. This means their mummies (or rather, tomb guardians) are still grandfathered - two have the block skill. The rest of the players are simply very bored.

In 2012, they made their only appearance in Fumbb[L] Cup, where they were beaten in game 4 by Sardin S. and some other skaven. Playing Khemri vs the Geggster had prepared me for the worst - but nothing could have prepared me for that game. The Cardinals were last seen abandoned by their coach, trying to hitch back to Nehekara.
