Deep below the realms of Men the House of X'il'th were set to summon the malevolent beings of Hell itself; Unbeknowst an agent of deception had sabotaged the holding rune circles and slipped away unnoticed. Chanting, low and monotonous, began to fill the cavernous arena; the still stale air whipped into life as the magical energies tugged at the fabric of the world. Purple lightning crackled along traced markings and rose dramatically into the air with an unearthly explosion; then silence.... Moments passed like centuries, until bursting through the shimmering transparent portal, came the ceatures of purest evil. Ghostlike essence too powerful to be held by mortal flesh flew unbound amidst the terrified gathering. Collecting herself the High Mistress Fy'x'rth began the Words of Recall, the vain attempt managing only to anger the spirits as they felt the faint magic drawing at them. Calling for her gods for assistance, the priestess flung herself towards the portal raising her staff as she fell from the dias. The spirits sensing the impending danger, frantically searched for the stongest and most agile victims; possessing the dark elves was easy, their powers were insignificant in comparision. Nexus to infinite planes; a million to one chance. When chaos and planets combine to form conduits of mystical proportions anything becomes possible. Fy'x'rth landed effortlessly and brought the weapon down with a force belied by her lithe frame; magic clashed as opposed charges erupted in electrified fireworks. The transportation device began to collapse and the spirits fought desparately to remain in this plane. Fighting in vain the outsiders were drawn back to their homeworld; or so they thought. The STRANGE NEW PLACE may not be ready for the tainted dark elves of Axtel, but the THE GAMES pitch has definately benefitted from the unlikely happenstance that brought their arrival. Having travelled around for several months playing THE GAME for food and lodgings; the displaced band have found a place in the HALO League, where matches are played with varying numbers of players, which appeals to their new chaotic streak. The team that was torn through the Nexus of Infinite Planes from the depths of Underdark for the divine purpose of violent participation in THE GAME; Has emerged to take on the surface races of the olde Worlde to find the most adaptable race of THE GAMERS. Hells Halos have struggled in their early matches; mainly because of the sunlight against the Wood Elves; after a good opening first half even the Hells Halos were disturbed by the bloodlust of the Vampires feeding on their own teammates; the initial meeting with Skaven provided the oppotunity to start a lust for blood themselves with 3 casualties and this trend seem to continue into the second Skaven match up of the division with 5 rats requiring attention from the apothecary.
