Countess Silvia the Bloodied had carved out a name for herself as ruler of a burg south of Nuln, she controlled through political intrigue, the entire city and it's resources including the large Bean Bay Bean Company. But, sleeping on a pile of ill begotten gold can only do it for you for so man years.
When vampire Countess Silvia had grown weary of the perils of boredom associated with eternal life she turned her eyes on Blood Bowl. She decided that if there were to be any money to be made out of the project she would need to come up with many cheap players, and found an inexhaustible source of replaceable bodies in the form of Hobgoblins. Since she wasn't necessarily familiar with nuances of the game (she did pick hobgoblins after all) she decided to hire a head coach that knew their way around the pitch. And after a few fruitless interviews she found her man or orc more specifically: Ex-pro black orc rusher Gruff "Grim-Eye" Zagbad, always known for his dynamic and brutal rushing plays while simultaneously smoking 3 or more lit cigars. Gruff was signed on as head coach and a steady stream of 'gobs started pouring in. It was then that the head coach began the thankless task of whipping (also punching, poking, gouging, and kicking) the 'gobs into shape.

2420: After becoming bored with centuries of unlife Silvia begins her team complete with players, coaches, a stadium and even a sponsor in the way of Bean Bay Beans.

Present: Under the harsh tutelage (and sometimes iron boot) of Zagbad the team manages to at times look like an actual blood bowl team, even if it's possibly by accident, you really can't tell with hobgoblins.
