Steady Stones
P [R] Dwarf

Team formed on 24 June 2014. My first team in [R] since 2012. If it doesn't prove too difficult to get games for them I'm hoping to skill them up enough to go to Lustria.

They did indeed go to Lustria and won the first game against cakalis's woodie team Silvanos Lituanos with 1-0. It was a rather lucky game, except that Gneiss died (Guard, MB lino).

16 September 2014
They won the second game as well, against PeteW's Ultimate Superheroes (also WE). The game ended in a 1-0 win for the Stones, with a high number of cas inflicted against the opponent. Overall I was very lucky in this game as well, and it could easily have been a 0-1 or 0-2 defeat. In the end, the opposition were just too bashed to be able to win. This means that the Stones are going to play the final in their Qualifier.

The last game of the qualifier was a very close game against Dominik's Gefaerliche Raubtiere, a Nurgle team. The team played well and it was a great game. After the first half they we're up 1-0, but the sweltering heat was making the game rather random. It looked like they would be able to fend off Dominik's Nurgles and stop them from scoring but in the end their SH beastman managed to score and the game went into overtime. This saw the Nurgles lose three of their players to heat while the Dwarfs only lost one and it looked like it was going my way. But Dominik ended up receiving and with a few lucky dodges he got away once again and managed to win 2-1. Still, the LC went better than I had expected, with two wins and almost qualifying for the main tournament. The Stones will now go back to training and prepare for the Fumbbl Cup!

The Stones took part in the Fumbbl Cup but lost the first game narrowly against ulvardar234's DE Naggaroth Zaphyrs, by 2-1 (1-1 at full time). The team weren't particularly successful at bashing and most Elves were on the pitch for most of the game, which was a huge disadvantage. In fact, I was surprised I didn't lose by more. The Death Roller did well.
