Origin Vertigo's Northlanders were assembled by Gorm chief of the colony. By force and blackmail the population was pushed into this dangerous entreprise. The demise of the Hakkarsons Tension arises between Hakkar's family and Sven over who will take over the team, when Gorm dies or retires. The Hakkarsons are always eager to challenge Sven and compete for possession of the ball despite linebacker duties. Fortunately, Hakkar the Old retired after a bad injury and Hakkarson died during a rampage on chaos dwarves. The Shield's maiden.
