Variation 1

With only Ag 2, ball handling is critical. Ag 2 w/ Sure Hands gives a flat 75% chance for an uncontested pickup (no use of RR allowed - fail and your Turn ends), and (against developed teams) prevents use of the Strip Ball skill.

This trades away both your ball-handlers for a 2nd positional with Block (& +1 AV) and an unskilled "lineman" that is slower but has Thick Skull. If you are willing to bash your opponent while trying to pick up the ball with Ag 2 (base 50%, or 75% w/ a RR), this is your starting roster. Since Khemri don't use Apo's, the 10k to spare goes toward a Throw-Ra as your next Player purchase.

Just variation 2 where you trade one re-roll for a Thro-Ra. Without a Thro-Ra you're likely to use a reroll to pickup the ball anyway, so why not get it as a skill instead? Moreover this solution frees both blitzers to be blitzers and not ball carrier. And you start with 12 players.
