This is the classic Vampire starting roster. The old way of thinking was - have the same amount of Re-rolls as Vampires. So starting with 4 of both gives you good pitch control via Hypno and St4, and 4 Re-rolls keeps you fairly reliable. Get an apothecary and some reserves while you get your first few skills on your vampires, then you can weigh up whether to get additional Vampires.

This is your classic gung-ho starting roster. 2 Re-rolls is extremely risky and it is very hard to manage your team with so few. But on the plus side you have 6 Von Carstein Vampires and they can do pretty much anything, especially when they start getting some skills. This is an experts only starting roster, but it can work with a very aggressive play style, knowing when to go out all is the key to it's success.

This is a very conservative build. Starting with only 3 Vampires and 4 Re-rolls means you can manage your Blood Lust and lack of core skills fairly easily. 3 Vampires is still enough to put heavy pressure on the on the opposing ball carrier. Starting with an Apothecary means you have a bit more protection for your players too, which helps with attrition.
