This is a pretty standard starting roster, you have 3 Re-rolls which is very useful as your team does not have any Block and they also have Frenzy which can get you into trouble at times. 3 Witch Elfs gives you good mobility, they start with Dodge, which means they can escape trouble, fairly easily move about to provide assists where needed, and offers them protection. 1 Death Hag is useful to function as a backfield blitzer, keeping your players standing with Pick me up, and also for carrying the ball. As your team is blanket Av8+ I'd recommend getting an Apothecary asap.

This variation drops 1 Priestess and a Re-roll to start with a 4th Witch Elf. This is risky because starting with 2 Re-rolls is hard to manage. However on the flipside you have an extra Dodge for staying mobile, and your team is faster, so offensively more of a threat. You also have more protection, Dodge is a good defensive skill.
