What would you give with standard and doubles rolls? |

if you are talking about a goblin fanatic, normal skill rolls are all useless as they can only take agility skills, none of which help him, as for a double pro, block or tackle would probably be the only ones worth taking |

I am unsure how fumbbl handles them, and in the reference section there are no categories listed for skill picks.
I will assume they are allowed General and thats all.
In such a case Block and Tackle are the early favorites, with Pro being a close third.
As for doubles, the only worthy pick would be Guard.
Pass Block might be amusing to help move them into position in the case of a dropped ball, but I have no idea if that would or should even work. |

Yeah guard is pretty worthless since they have no tackle zones. |

Currently you don't need to have a TZ to assist a block. |

At the moment good skills for a pump wagon are
on standard rolls
Block/Tackle/(maybe pass block to get some extra move?)
On doubles
Dauntless(for use against ST7 players)
There are few really good skills for such things but then they are not supposed to live that long |

Dauntless for a str 6 player? The only time you will ever be able to use it is if the ball and chain player happens to randomly hit a +1 str beast or treeman. The odds of this ever occuring in the average lifetime of a pump wagon are slim to nill imo. |

I agree... General and Strength, then Block is a must (whether you roll double or not, IMO), tackle is also nice, Leader on doubles perhaps (even if it doesn't help Big Guys yet), Pro for a normal roll is also nice (if it works? no expert on pump wagons), what about Piling On? I know it's cheesy, but so is the entire stunty leeg anyway.. Don't know if it would work, or would even be remotely interesting, but there it is.. Right, enough drivel outta me for this morning! Better head off to school... |

Can't use Piling On, they never use a block action. |

The second statement is correct. But, from the LRB description of Ball and Chain (also see the FUMBBL Secret Weapons page):
Quote: | Goblin Fanatics are never allowed to pick up or catch the
ball, and can?t be used to assist other players in a block. |
So Guard probably is not what you want. |

pro is useful to rr block dice and collapse rolls.
pump wagons currently can assist blocks, but 98% its a bug as pointed out by oeuftete |
