Well, IMO, Rotter Beastmen should have Regen as opposed to Horns...would make more of a difference from regular Chaos too... |

I'd like to take a second to once again try to drive home the point that undead aren't going anywhere, just the mummies on the undead team are leaving. They could have avoided a lot of this nostalgic backlash if they just called Necromantic Revised Undead. Then when it went to being official change it back to being called undead. It's not the first time teams have lost players or had players changed, anybody else remember when lizardmen had Temple Guards. It's not so much a question of balance as it is a question of flavor and variety. |

Nurgle teams not getting an Apothocary hurts. I am playing in a table top league with them and have lost two beastman as a result. Of course my regen has stuck once. Personally, I don't think the team is that good but then again I always roll like crap.
As for Undead, I say leave them in and leave them alone. I have never had any real troubles beating Undead teams and I don't really fear the mummies. |

well the thing about rotters is that you can raise them with your beast... if the beastmen had regenerate as well then they would be a bit strong... |

Obviously if Nurgle Beasties had horns and regen they would need to be upped in price and may well be too strong.
OTOH, I don't see how replacing horns with regen makes them too strong. My Chaos team has lost 5 beaties in 27 games. My Nurgle team has lost 7 beasties in 13. If the latter were in a tournament as opposed to open I'd be in serious trouble...
More importantly, to my mind, it makes them more different from regular Chaos. |

yeah
fer fluff purposes just say the first thing effected by nurgles rot is the horns!
nurgle rot can't be that bad though, you're putrid and rotten in exchange you get to regenerate?
immortality for a lfietime of oozing?
should that be a poll question? |

Let me guess - you have the oozing part already, but lack immortality?

I would be satisfied to see regen added back to the physical abilities. |
