This happens in another on line game i play and does make the 'league' system more dynamic. There you have to have completed a game within the last 2 months to qualify. That seems a reasonable limit.
Also frightend the life out of you when people reactivate their accounts an suddenly appear in 5th or wherever.
But I agree. They got the high CR. For whatever its worth. When they come back it makes sense they restart from that level. |

Nah. I think your CR should start to 'decay' towards 150 (if it was higher  ) when you have not played Ranked for a couple of months.
A ranking system is usually about who is good now not who was good then. |
