Just two suggestions:
1) Bounty:
You should be able to place a bounty on an especially annoying player on another coach’s team.
The bounty should be at least 5,000, and be collected by any team killing the player.
In the overview of a team there could be a small icon by the players and if you clicked on the player the size of the bounty, and maybe the coach who made should be there.
When you create the bounty you should loose the money.
2) Player marked
It would be cool if you could buy and sell players!
A coach could put a player up for sale and name a price. Then you should make a button at the team overview called “Buy Player from Players Marked”, that gives a list of the available players from other coaches. When a player is bought, then he will be removed from the seller’s roster and added to the buyers, and the gold will go visa versa.
Of course you should only be allowed to buy players that are normally available for your team.
I know that this probably will cause some technical problems, but I am sure that you skilled folks at FUMBBL can solve them
That was just my humble suggestions. Sorry about the bad English. |

I think these questions have been brought up and answered a few times before.
Bounties: Opens up many ways of abuse.
Market: Unbalances the game horribly (let's build an all +ST high elf team, or an all +AG orc team.. wee..).. |

1) Could be possible. There'll be some coach who will specialise in bounty hunting
2) First, you must allow coaches to buy players from their race only. Otherwise, everyone will be able to have any players on his team. Even then, it's too easy when your team is too beat up to start with a new one and buy your own player cheaply. There will be too much abuse with this so i don't think it's a good idea to implement it. Still, in a small league when each players know and thrust each other, it could be a good idea. A veteran from a good team with 2-3 niggling can found a 2nd carreer in a new team |

Wouldn’t money hinder this? Those kinds of players would be very expensive unless they have a few niggling.
Of course you would also only be able to buy players that are normally legal to have on your team according to the rules, and you should not be able to buy players from any of your own teams. |

I think a league with these rules would be a lot of fun (and popular too).
But for the open/div-x etc... no way. |

having a seperate tourne for marketed players would be good, but i agree, i think that there should be a standard for +stat players especially, otherwise you'd get loads of people creating new coaches just to create new players to trade with, and then sell them off really cheaply to their other teams |

Maybe it should only be possible to sell players for the players "worth" taking into account his stats and his skills gained. |

not going to happen im afraid... there is no discussion in the matter as the makers of the site do not want it. yes it may be fun but its open for abuse and a division for it would be plain silly with uber teams with their farm teams selling them their best players... any time you got a nasty nig you would sell off to another team for an inflated price. that is why it isnt feasable... also its not in the LRB so it wont be on the site... |

1)About the bounty system, I think it could be nice. I wouldnt put it in the open division, but could be worked out in the Div-x. About abusing, tough, it would be simple to get around "Bounty hunting" teams. When a team with a player having a bounty on his head would see an opponent using PO/RSC players with some DP's, he would simply have to say "NO" as other coaches would be!
2)About the marketed players, I would call this more free Agents. The idea is extremely good, and again, I would keep it to Div-x. It would help some teams to get more competitives, and also help others to get some money when needed. Normally, a coach will put on the market a player only if he "really" need the money, or dont like the way he developped.
To prevent the +ST or +AG teams, a very simple rule could be applied in the league: Each team can have up to 2 free agents. So, nobody could have more then 2 bought players at the same time. This would reduce the abusing theory.
Also, when a team would place a player on the market, the player would be marked something lilke "unavailable to play", just like a player missing a game from a injury. This way, the selling coaches would think about it twice before putting a player on the free agents list, since it would screw their team until the player is sold.
for the price of the players, a formula should be created, to get the base price. Check OLBBL formula about Free agents for that, its quite good. Then, coaches would have the option to put a price on the player, and it would be like an auction. The only coaches that would be able to bet would be the ones having the money at that time in their banck. And, after a bet havent been outbidded for a whole day, the transaction would be made.
Still about Free Agents, an other thing i would suggest, with the same limits (no more then 2 free Agents per team), is to allow the market only from Div-x to tourney.
Of course, we would need to create rules to prevent abuses... and also, as the admins and most of the community would prefer, we should keep it away from Open to keep the open division by the LRB rules.
Well, this is some suggestions about that. but im sure that if its rightly ruled, and if the options are only autorized into special divisions, we could have something nice to come out of it. Even if it means to create a new division?!? Or maybe we could put this into the factions? I dont have problems about thinking about it... ^_^ |

The Stunty Leeg has always been a less than serious offshoot, everywhere else it is LRB only. |

just tossing an idea in to maybe make this a little less open to abuse: What about freebooting free agents in the teams Star Player slot?
The cost could be determined from half the calculated worth of the player, only one player per game and the team coach doesn't get the money from the freeboot - bloodbowl players contracts being loose enough to allow them play for other teams in one-off games and then spend their winnings on whores and ale to their own content.
This would limit the usefulness to both sides, while still making for some cool fluff effects on the divisions. A private message could be sent to the owner of the player every time his player is freebooted, statistics could be logged: (Did you know? The most freebooted player is Swifty with 200 freebooted games.) And we could all have a bit of fun with one player for those special games at an inordinate cost. If the player is injured or dies is SId, don't worry it's just a flesh wound and has no bearing on his main team.
One of the reasons I see this as more viable is that with the release of Zara the Slayer - the high AG/MA blodger available to dwarves - it does seem like the LRB is markedly showing less interest in balancing star players, understandably given their minor usefulness - one player for a huge cost for one match who will likely steal a lot of SPPs. So maybe we could take a leaf from their book and, in DIVX perhaps, go crazy with the freebooting. |

Bounties would be fun!!!
To keep it from unbalancing play, if the bounties were fixed at 1,000 (or some such number) and a coach could only put one bounty per game (deducted from the team's account immeadiately), then it would add fun but not much room for abuse. |
