About the rules lawering from Mr -Klipp H*ll yeah hes supposed to, they ( the admin ) are suppose to get the server to work according to the rules so ofcourse they will try to do it as precise as they can.
And anyone playing any other of GW table top games know that if it´s not totally official then don´t even bother to mention it, since they say 15 things wich none are concistent with the final version.
You also have to consider what they had in mind when creating the skills ( if there is any doubt wich i do not believe ther is , my oppinion ).
Did they intend to have players block biguys with this skill , or did they intend gutterrunners and other st 2 guys multiple blocking stuff, probably not. |

Combined Dauntless and Multiple block sounds really cool for a fast Kamikaze player but due to the risk it seems not unbalanced if you ask me... |

iirc, it was in the list of clarifications that came with the rules review of 2002.
Of course, with the publication of the 2003 RR, the 2002 version dissapeared of the official site *rollseyes*, leaving me with no actual proof of that.
bleh. here I thought I could end the discussion with an official answer and it turns out you'll have to take my word for it anyway.
That's no good.
what's the point in having an official FAQ if they don't keep it easily accesible... *grumble*
Anyway, it's true! Believe me! :p |
I second this, I'm sure if we can get hold of the 2002 FAQ it's in there. Just need to dump a mail in the fanatic bunker.

It would more likely point to the fact that you can not use dauntless when blocking more then one player, if following what the text says. |
I've always played that Dauntless & Multiple Block combined. Its always been a popular choice for Troll Slayers. |

Actually no, what that says is that they changed it. The rules written in the LRB still don't allow it, and that was what was being argued.
This is hardly the first time GW has published a rules change as a "clarification". |

So I assume that because somebody thinks yet another skill combo is overpowered, it will suddenly be reduced in power come next Rules Review?
It's pretty simple really. You see a guy capable of knocking 2 players over every turn, knock his arse over and foul him until he can no longer do any damage. You take away your opponent's crutch player, and you take away his strategy. |

You are assuming he has only one. For a chaos team, you can have this combo after only 2 skills needing only one double. Put it on a beastman and he can blitz two players and get two dice by himself, and there is no reason to only have one. |

Semantics aside, it is clearly an unbalanced factor of the game. I think that players should not be able to use the dauntless and multiple block skills in the same action. |

plus it has a good chance of back firing! if you fail a dauntless roll that's 2 or maybe even 3 dice your pponents choice |

So a Dauntless roll of 7+ suddenly makes this skill overpowered. How about we take Multiple Block away from mummies while we're at it, they have str 5, they just need two assists, that's far too overpowered!
Personally I'd think twice before attempting to Multi-Block with Dauntless, fails far too often for my tastes. |
