Update
Thanks for your support.
Some responses:

Judging by the Count's picture, I'd suggest buying some flowers, young man!
If that doesn't work, maybe try the suicidal Leaping Wardancer gambit since you have a spare.
The relative lack of things like Dauntless, Strip Ball, and Diving Tackle make it difficult for your team.
However, it seems from your skill picks that your players are more focused on scoring than preventing scores.
If you can control the clock, then you can score one more and be done with it.
As far as weak points, I've already said Synn's Ghouls would be Plorg's first targets.
With your team, I'd reserve Mimic and Thor II as an anti-Ghoul squad to be applied as targets become available.

As for the awesome Lizards (it really is an awesome Lizard team),
Plorg will point out that the past three opponents have had less than 50% luck,
and BooAhl has had the luck advantage in all three games.
Will that keep going in their next game against a confirmed basher team [Undead/Orc/Khemri/Khemri]?
Plorg thinks that BooAhl is already rolling dice on Nuffle's credit and the interest is piling up.
The mobility of the Lizards means that they can outscore basher teams on average.
The developed Saurii and 3 Skink DPs means that they can hit back against bashers too.
Multiple ST3 Skinks makes the backfield unsafe for ball carriers without deep caging.
However, all four of those bashers have minimum 3 Tacklers, 3 DPs, and 2 ST5 players.
Since all but the Undead have lots of Mighty Blow, remind yourself about its effect on AV7 Stunty.
The Lizards will also be giving handicaps to the bashers.
If the luck numbers go the other way that game and BooAhl ends up with 45% luck against the basher's 60%...
Well if that happens I'll wish BooAhl good luck in rebuilding his decimated awesome Lizard team.

Will be played at Sunday 15:00 BB time.
Make your pick Plorg! |
Plorg envisions many small slugfests over the field where knots of Guard and Mighty Blow pound on AV9 turn after turn.
The Orcs have some lovely stat increases and their Troll makes me smile,
but Plorg believes the Chaos Dwarfs simply have them outspent.
If the AG5 and ST4 Orc Blitzers niggle out, then it will be a sad sad day for the Orcs.
A Wizard against a BlOB cluster makes a hole and then you have 3 Centaurs in the backfield.
Plorg's Pick: Anguish and Beyond by 1, no OT

Bring an umbrella, it should be bloody. |
The Undead TS advantage is deceiving.
They have 15 players plus the Count, while the Orcs have 15...
plus the cash to hire Morg or perhaps a Wizard and Chainsaw, who knows?
The Orc TS still has the potential to increase dramatically.
They also have a 9FF advantage, which adds up on kickoff rolls.
Looking at the Orc team, they have eight players with Block/Guard/Mighty Blow right now.
Backing that up is 3 DPs and a +AG Goblin for decent Turn 8 TTM potential.
The Undead have 3 ST5 players including the Count,
but since Undead lack supporting Guards the Orcs will outstrength the Undead.
Five zombie DPs will be swooping in on anything green that falls, so there will be blood.
I'll assume that Morg is hired to cover the Count.
The scoring in this match comes down to the Undead Ghouls vs the Orc Blitzers.
Comparing these teams, the Orcs come out ahead.
Plorg's Pick: Communist Party by 1, no OT, taking 1 MNG/RIP

Erm, I wasn't knocking your pick. I said you came very close. English isn't my mother toungue, perhaps it should've been phrased differently. But please, do continue - it's good to read how other people think certain matchups will end, since I am of course biased myself. |

Upcoming Games
Thursday November 23
By TR/TS, these teams are very evenly matched.
Orcs are loaded with +ST and Varag, having a total of seven ST4 players and one ST6.
Even so, the blocking game will come down to the three Orc Tacklers against eight Blodging Elves.
Based on Cas/TD records, these Elves are accustomed to taking punishment and yet winning.
This will be a very close match which will either be won by the Elves by turn 16 or by the Orcs in OT.
Plorg's Pick: Ultimate Superheroes by 1, no OT

Sunday, 13:00 bb time |
I honestly forgot to post on the earlier Stormrider Tribe/Buffy Episodes game.
Tribe were the favorites based on comparison of their win and TD records to Buffy Episodes.
Having two ST6 players is really cool but Buffy should be winning more games with them.
However they did kill two of the Stormriders BlOBs which may prune this branch from the tournament brackets.
The Tribe now faces the defending champions, Nandorins.
The Elves have a fresh Dragon Warrior who is comically one of the least valuable members of the team.
If this were a full strength Orc team this might be a difficult decision.
As it stands the Elves are heavily favored to win.
Plorg's Pick: Nandorins by 2, no OT
Comparing the W/D/L, TD diff, and Cas diff records, these two teams are very similar.
The Orcs have one MNG blitzer but enough cash to hire Varag, Ripper, or Nobbla.
While the Cas records are similar, this is a matchup between AV9 and regen AV7.
AV7 often loses this matchup but regen (sometimes) lets the team recover for the next drive.
The teams are evenly matched in Guard and DP but Khemri have the ST advantage and Ramtut as usual.
The Orcs have the advantage in Mighty Blow which should help against AV7.
Sadly, I expect the Khemri to win this.
Plorg's Pick: Turniermumien by 1 in OT

I have cash to hire Varag, Ripper, Nobbla or a wizard - the last which is very useful vs khemri. I am still in the process of researching what would be best. I'm not much fan of Varag because there are better value players. Ripper is a staple in the Communist Party (I suspect comrade Bolgrot has ties higher up) due to his regenerating ability. Nobbla is great because he ignores dodge (something those khemri seem to have quite a few of), but every time I choose him he refuses to start the chainsaw. A wizard could win me the game - but it's only one shot and won't save my players. I suspect Dominik will win this game as well, but you never know. |

Great picks Plorg!

PS.
Hire a wizz. Stops a drive atleast if you cant steal the ball and score.
