Hi all.
I my real life, LRB5, league theres been some discussing about crowd pushes. As I read the rules + how I have been influenced by fumbbl you just roll for injury, 2d6, and no spp for the player if the crowd push result in a casualty. Some of the others believ (wrongly I think) that ex. a player with MB gets the chance to make the casualty first. Now let me hear the experts of BBowl!

Quote: | Players must be pushed off the pitch if there are no eligible
empty squares on the pitch. A player pushed off the pitch, even if
Knocked Down, is beaten up only by the crowd and receives one
roll on the Injury Table. The crowd does
not have any injury modifying skills |
He is beaten up only by the crowd. So no modifiers from the blocking player and no SPP for him as well. |

If a player thinks hes got better odds of causing a casualty with his injury skills then with the crowd, maybe he shouldnt crowdpush. |

Straight injury roll by the crowd. The crowd earns spp for any injuries caused. Notice that the crowd doesnt not have MB or such nonsense. |

Players must be pushed off the field if there are no eligible empty
squares on the field. A player pushed off the field is beaten up by
the crowd and must roll on the Injury Table (see Injuries,
opposite). No modifiers apply to this roll.
Note that no Armour roll is made for a player that is pushed off
the pitch, they are automatically injured. If a ‘Stunned’ result is
rolled on the Injury table the player should be placed in the
Reserves box of the Dugout, and must remain there until a
touchdown is scored or the half ends. If the player who is holding
the ball is pushed out of bounds, then he is beaten up by the
fans, who are more than happy to throw the ball back into play!
The throw-in is centered on the last square the player was in
before he was pushed off the field.'
AKA - you re right. I ve been playing with the other thing too though. And I guess that would make sense. Being RIP'ed before ever getting to the crowd... But no. Just crowd injury here. |

Yes.
The surfing rules include a whole host of benefits including a free off the pitch for the whole drive result if they arent KOed or Cas. If you dont think that this is worthwhile, try not to push opponents into that fluffy barrier that is the crowd. |

you are absolutely right, but notice that in LRB5 you can use the apothecary on a crowdpush injury. |

So if I send 3 guys to surf and the crowd causes casualties on each, is the crowd elegible for a skill and COULD this skill be MB (or maybe even RSC if the hosting player coaches chaos)? |

yes if one of the xxxxxx specs did all 3 cas and more important, he is next game still your fan.
maybe he switch to the other team and doesnt hurt them. not that not enough others specs will do his job. but his rsc only works vs you
but the chance that 1 spec of the crowd makes all 3 cas is so low. for example 100.000 specs
1:100.000.000.000.000.000 and then 1/6 that he makes a trait ^^ not to mention he needs to be a chaos crature. highly not likely ^^ |

A cool houserule could be a crowd throwing players in the court back like the ball. Imagine a crowd of mummys!
That could be fun. |
