What about the decision for TS values of 0-1 Rerolls and Leader. Any interest in a change on that topic? |

There's a very easy solution to this - simply remove the rebate. No-one would play without RRs if they didn't get this rebate, and no-one accidentally winds up with no RRs. This means that the only effect of the rebate is that it encourages TS metagaming. It serves no real purpose whatsoever. |

Whatever the solution will be, that can be added to the issue list imo |

I've noticed that teams with much higher TS than TR are often playing teams with much higher TR than TS, like a 210/190 team playing a 160/170 team for example. I understand why this happens (handicaps compensate for TS difference), but I do find that it is a strange matchup and it can often lead to unfair matches. This is actually the only way in which the handicap rule will apply, so is this by design? My opinion is that it's a mistake to do it this way.
Sorry if this was addressed before. |

I think Blackbox in the long run will need 3 things.
- an everyday championship factor (like Ranked and Faction)
- tournaments
- awards (why can't someone's hard fought 100 wood elf matches in the Box be awarded?)
... implemented sooner rather than later, for massively increased motivation.

hi there, i'm just playing a game in the box - got scheduled with my skaven team at 137/134.
i'm absolutely positive, though, that i activated my undead as preferred team.
their (the undead's) tr/ts was exactly identical (137/134) - i thought that BWR / BBR supposedly
weren't involved in the match-ups anymore?
anyone got an explanation? |

good thought, hadn't considered that.
last undead match was vs. mnemon and he wasn't even in the draw of that black-box round at all.
so that can't be it
EDIT:
Found 12 coaches.
- mamapepe87 vs gansus (Lizardmen 107/104 vs 106/105 Khemri) @881
- treborius vs Pulpo_Fiction (Skaven 137/134 vs 132/134 Dwarf) @891
- emrick vs On1 (Orc 215/184 vs 206/185 Ogre) @877
- spathii vs maznaz (Orc 173/170 vs 183/182 Dwarf) @884
- Nature_Warden vs Argos (Undead 126/127 vs 117/124 Undead) @845
- BillBrasky vs duttydave (Wood Elf 123/113 vs 115/112 Nurgle's Rotters) @881
Scheduled 6 matches
...that's the round in question |

nah, not possible - my last Undead-match is 13 Box-games ago (despite activating that team every single time )
and it was vs. lizzies...
...the team i got matched against this round was Dwarf - so that (Undead vs. Dwarf) would've been an equally good match-up as the one that got scheduled, but with my preferred team... |

According to the racial factors chart, dwarfs have a big advantage over undead at that ranking, whereas dwarfs vs skaven is fairly even, so presumably the algorithm decided that this was a fairer match. |

I'd guess an unlucky combo of the racial and random factors. |

hmm, hard to believe that dwarf have a so much higher advantage vs. undead than vs. skaven (since they're loaded with tackle and gr are more important to skaven than ghouls to undead), but i guess that would be possible...
...when i read it correctly, Dwarf have 55.59% chance vs. undead at that level (TS=130..150) and "only" 50.63 vs. skaven?

ok, i've trimmed my skaven to 138/133 (undead are still 137/134) and we'll see what happens next round...
...needless to say that i'll make the undead my preferred team, again
...i also have not played my ogres for almost 35 games, though i rarely got to play the one i activated
...it's all very puzzling
EDIT: well, i played 7 more games till now - neither my Undead nor my Skaven got drawn again (though i've activated my Undead every time)...
...i'll know more (and post) when either team gets drawn by the scheduler |
