trying to make sense of things but just confusing myself.... all my open teams are in limbo waiting for me to decide on a direction.....

I'd really appreciate if someone would be prepared to spell things out in stupid persons terms so that i can get my head around it al...

your teams are in limbo because they are LRB4 teams.

no one really plays lrb4 now, so just make the changes you want to them then convert them to LRB6 or CRP as it is now known.

People now play in Ranked and the Black Box division.

I would suggest creating a new team in Ranked for now till you get used to the new client.

Find games in ranked the same way as you used to, but you do not need to download anything other than java. When you click play for the first time it will download everything you need.

It might be a good idea to click spectate next to one of the games that is going on at the moment to dowload the new client before you play your first game.

I assume you came before the transition to LRB6? If so, you can put your teams into either the LRB4 division or the Ranked division (or Blackbox, maybe both depending on teams, don't remember). Then, once they're transferred you can continue to play as normal. Obviously if you put them in Ranked or BB, it will be under LRB6 rules. Positionals may change, but you will get to keep extras of a position until they die (ogres, for example).

cheers both, aye i signed up back in 2003 Smile and completely missed transition....seems like i got a lot of reading to do... seems things are completely nerfed from what i know :/

Nah, it's different and it takes a bit of getting used to but it's still a damn fine game of Blood Bowl. The new teams are interesting too.

so...automove has thrown me, not being able to view all of the client or use chat has thrown me, not to mention the new skills and positionals...

One more thing, if you activate a Box team you don't need to worry about game names etc. The game gets automatically connected when you press 'play'

Hey all,

I'm also back on fumbbl after 4 years of absence.
No issue with CRaP/LRB6 (my thoughts go to you again Galak! many thanks) or the client since Ihqve been playing leagues and tourneys tabletop and spectating some matches these last few days...

My total n00b question is/ How do I retire teams again? (Seem to have forgotten how to do this) Want to do some cleaning before I start to plays once more Smile

make them active again if they are in limbo. Then click retire team at the bottom of your team page.
