Been trying to come up with an elven stunty team for a while and I finally think I have some fluff that makes sense. Names need some work and costs might need to be adjusted, but hey this is my first go at this. Have it it boys!
edit: alternative team names are welcome as "Chaos Elves" is a bit boring... how about "Change Elves" or "Tainted Elves"
________________________________________________
On the fringe of the great elven forests, where the mighty oaks hold back the ever expanding Chaos Wastes a battle is being waged. A battle that does not ring with the sound of steel on steel, or the explosions of magical might. No this battle is heralded by the soft sound of a seedling sprouting or leaf falling. The warriors of this battle are Wood Elves and Ents touched by Chaos at birth, disfiguring and weakening their proud natural bodies. Yet despite this curse these proud warriors resist giving themselves completely to Chaos and instead battle to halt the spread of the fearsome powers of Change.
Long have these heroes battled in obscurity but in an attempt to bring their plight to the masses they have reached out to try and tap into the greatest marketing trick known in the Old World, join a Blood Bowl league.
______________________________________________
Chaos Ents are warped compared to their healthy brethren, looking more like a twisted Willow than a mighty Oak. The Chaos Ent can be a fearsome sight on the Line of Scrimmage with it’s limbs flailing and it’s maw spread in a wordless howl. At times the Chaos laced mind of the Ent rebels and has been known to mistake friend for foe.
Chaos Dancers, with their two heads, are separated from their families at birth and are trained from that time to lead the fight against Chaos as the belief is that two brains are better than one. These agile warriors wear fierce masks into battle and onto the pitch to hide their often grotesque features.
Chaos Throwers, like the Dancers, these elves are marked at birth due to their obvious mutated hands. These warriors have been trained to make the best of their Chaos curse and are terrific ball handlers.
Chaos Elves are not marked as obviously as their more Chaos tainted teammates but the insidious tinge of Chaos has been discovered by mystical means. The power of Change lurks beneath the surface of these warriors and can erupt without warning with often devastating effects.
0-2 Chaos Ent 2/5/1/9 Loner, Mighty Blow, TTM, Tentacles, Thick Skull, Stand Firm, Always Hungry, Take Root S/GM 140k
0-2 Chaos Dancer 7/1/4/5 Dodge, Leap, Stunty, Two Heads, Right Stuff GA/SM 90k
0-2 Chaos Thrower 6/1/4/5 Dodge, Stunty, Big Hand, Right Stuff AP/GM 70k
0-16 Chaos Elf 6/1/4/5 Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff A/GSM 50k |

without even delving into the core mechanics of the team...
no ag4 dominant stunty teams...
no "stuntyizing" LRB core rosters...
simply put...no...

I really don't like the idea of small Elves, or another evil team, especially with mutations to make them even better.
I do like the idea of a bunch of really weak AG4 (mixed with still weak AG3), but they need to be balanced out in that they are pricey and get crushed easily. |

Heh, based on some of the other team designs out there (mine included, doh!) you really gotta screw the pooch to get a rejection-hammer from Lord Shadow this quickly FreeRange. Possibly a new record. Well done! |
