...and I am a little disappointed that I did not get that MA+ I was hoping for.
Anyway, Aran sits at ST4 AG4 Block, Fend and rolled only a 6+2 (and became my first [R] superstar!).
As he is the best player (and pretty much all the offense) on my primary Majors team, I need to choose wisely.
In IRC I already got suggestions for passing skills (pass or accurte), Kick-off return and Tackle.
There does not seem to be a decent option here. Passing skills might not make that much sense, as I normally need his bullish strength to break through as a receiver in 2-turn situations and use my AG5-Blitzer (yeah, I know) as a passer, I'm sceptical about a passing skill. Dump-off might be another possibility here
Tackle might be another logical choice to turn him into more of an all-around player. The problem here is that I tend to be very protective about him and at times don't even field him on defense as the team can not afford losing him as he pretty much is the offense.
Kick-off Return might after all make the most sense, but I really dislike it and as a fellow coach put it "that guy is a super-star, he doesn't want something boring like KOR"...
So, please help me out...

+1
That's too much TW and potential to be sitting on the bench half the game. He can be fielded on defense as a sweeper (especially with tackle) to wipe out one elf reciever while your other players put tzs on the others.
Vs. bashers he can make hit and run attacks into the line and keep him safe that way while still having the potential to strike at a ball carrier and make a break for a defensive score. |

...and I'd suggest Tackle 1st, because then, with the new roll, that'll be a double, you can make a poll to choose between Dodge and Migthy Blow

i don't know why you shouldn't field it on defence. If you manage to get the ball loose he's the guy to pick it up and bring it to safety. With sure hands and ag4 he can reliably pick in TZ and dodge out or even pass to the blitzer. |

Thanks for the advice everyone. I have settled for Tackle and hope that this will pay off. |

Dwarves lose because they are limited on things they can do on Offense.

I often see dwarfs lose because some bashy team can afford to tie up their slow tacklers and have any blodgers run amok.
With AG2 and MA4, blockers aren't going to chase down a lot of things. They're fine at it if unencumbered and at short range, but this runner can get a lot of places they can't.
(as with any dwarf passer argument, ask yourself who will catch the ball) |

that AG5 blitzer is a good candidate |

It's an option now, but I try to avoid building one player specifically to work with another. They don't last forever. |
