yes. cos stab is bloody hopeless... |
Not sure if this is the (rare) serious pythrr or the humorous troll.
My thoughts are that we might need different rolls for different teams with stab. A team like the Skinks with only the Adaept could be a 10+, where the Forest Gobbos should likely be a 9+. Played my first game with FG last night and I stopped stabbing Skinks toward the end of the first half in order to try and farm some SPPs by blocking, and because we were running out of things to poke with our sticks. Otherwise we probably would have sent a bunch more to the infirmary/morgue. |

Well, imho, whenever I hire sinnedbad, he sucks. However, I can see stab being useful in stunty. |

yeah, since stunty is AV 7 (or less!) for most players, instead of AV 8 (or more), it makes a huge difference to how good stab is. That being said, it's still not reliable enough to need to be sent off easily, which is why the 10+ suggestion; although maybe forest gobbos need 9+ due to how many they have, but.. I wouldn't think so. |

Yes, but Sinnedbad is trying to stab AV8/9 guys usually, and spends half the time scratching his dry bones with his arm-sword.
In Stunty you have a far greater chance stabbing against AV6/7 (a 58 or 72% chance I think) and Stunty gives you MBlow for the stab, KOing on a 7 and BH on a 9. Versus a 2DB with the stabber, which is two 16.7% rolls for a POW, unless you get some Block or Tackle. Then you still have to roll armour. It also doesn't eat up RRs, which Stunties with no Block seem to do a lot of. |

the inhability to use rr makes stabing considerably less reliable.
The probability to break av6 is 58%, for av7 42% |

Yes, you are right on the %s. I was calculating rolling 6s and 7s, not 7s and 8s.
Still, much better than a 17% chance on a block, then rolling the same % for armour.
Roll doubles on a stabber for MultiB and you have an oversized sewing machine for poking things. |

ErobererZim, don't worry. If we are lucky the Horrors will be rebuilt from scratch when bombs are implemented. I always loved the thought of interecepting fire?? |
