Christer or Woodstock, what is the maximum character count for a group page? I( know I exceeded it before and don't want to again. At the same time, I don't want to split my page more. Thanks. |

Ok, Christer let me know it is 65535 bytes.
For those who care I updated the CFFL code on page 1. It is a lot cleaner now.
Couple things I did:
1. removed the https://fumbbl.com from all images, and
2. removed the https://fumbbl.com from all links. It works for url tags too!
On a big page like the CFFL it saves 3,000 bytes and makes it much easier to edit and find what you want. |

i am very proud of my first team bio in bb code (thx to oenarlod for supporting me), though i cant get one thing!
in the passage of cutreport from time to time the middle one of the 3 player images (when it occures then every time in both of the toggles) is sometimes not to see becouse the image is too small (fill in a img w*** didnt work!) that occures sometimes and sometimes all work as it should, whats reason for this? is it a wrong bbcode i use (but then again, why it works fine sometimes?), any suggestions?

p.s. is there a easy way to put the team logo on a football helm picture?
p.p.s. the turnament thing is wip =D |

You bloody upper!
Nice bio however. I stole your idea for the trophies. Could you however paste the beginning of your code? Mine looks like that:
Code: | [block=panel automargin][block=panelheader]Trophies [block=right][toggle label=Show trophies block=badges][/block][/block][block=pad10]\ |
and the "Show" button is under the header instead: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=714168
(work still in progress by the way) |

oh sure, i stole it from onarlod (with his permission)
[block=panel automargin width=600px][block=panelheader][block=floatright pad5][toggle label=Show block=badge][/block]Trophys[/block][block=pad10]\
and the badge:
[block=hidden white id=badge][block=pad10]\
[block=floatcontainer blue][block=floatleft pad5][img title=Yearbook]/files/GLN/BadgesLRB6/Pretty.gif[/img][/block]

Not very good at BBCode, so maybe I could get a bit of help from the experts - I'm starting to work on this teams bio:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=719215
The problem is in the "Match Milestones & Highlights" section - I would like the first button to display like the second button does (an image with hover text & link). You'll notice that the 3rd button (& any after that) doesn't work & it appears to be something with the Match_2 block.
I'm really just cutting/pasting then modifying from the tutorial & don't know much about BBcode so I'm sure it's an easy fix - I just can't see the problem...so any help would be appreciated!
Anywho- Thanks & here's the code:
[bbcode][block=panel automargin width=900px][block=panelheader]Match Milestones & Highlights[/block][block=pad2][/block]\
\
[toggle group=Matches block=Match_1 label=First Match]\
[toggle group=Matches block=Match_2 label=First Win]\
[toggle group=Matches block=Match_3 label=Continuing the streak]\
\
[block=hidden group=Matches id=Match_1]\
[img title=Stake in the Heart]https://fumbbl.com/i/337011[/img]\
Result: Loss Score 0 - 2
A Poor start - with a 90K TV difference I didn't look at the star players & took a magic card instead which was an in-efficient use of inducements-I could of hired Zzharg Madeye who might of been a ton of help. Besides that, the Zed Runners played horribly - guess the coach needs a bit of time to adjust
[/block]\
\
[block=hidden group=Matches id=Match_2]\
[block=floatcontainer blue][block=floatleft pad5][img title=replay match]https://fumbbl.com/i/337001.gif[/img]\
Result: Win Score 2 - 0 Cas. for:2 Cas against: 0
A memorable match that saw the Zed Runners hiring Zzharg Madeye who in the 2nd half is instrumental in securing the 2nd TD\
[/block][/block]\
\
[block=hidden group=Matches id=Match_3]\
Match 5: Facing a wood elf side was a daunting proposition but the team dug deep & reduced their players by a few early on giving them some breathing room. There was some concern when 'Mad' Max Rockatansky was injured in the 1st half, but they prevailed to squeak out another win.\

[block=floatcontainer blue][block=floatleft pad5][img title=Mudguts]/FUMBBL/Images/PlayerIcons/marauder4.gif[/img] gains +AG
[block=floatcontainer blue][block=floatleft pad5][img title=Jim Goose]/FUMBBL/Images/PlayerIcons/skavenrenegade1.gif[/img] gains Wrestle
[/block][/block][/bbcode] |

Looks like you double-closed the Matches_2 block. You only need the one /block at the end by the looks of it. The second one is likely closing the overall containing block, leaving the Matches_3 section floating outside. |

And for anyone who cares, I just finished updating the main CFFL page again and fixing the historic season 1 through 3 pages. These pages (under the Stats button) have a 3-way toggle for the various season stats, schedule, etc. If you want any code, let me know.

Now to write all the team history snapshots... |

Thanks, that wasn't the only problem - I had lot's of [/block]in the wrong places...it'll take a bit to figure out the format
Is there a BBCode editor that anyone recommends? |
