Khornmandos
My team has just started out. I've only really played a single game as my first opponent forfeited after his internet ran out of time (pre-paid stuff *shrugs*) I'm not complaining though lol.
My question is. I have an Apo and 3 RR's. none of my players are dead (yet). after my second game I have 150k to spend.
Should I get a mino? or should I go for another RR? I'm a pretty new player and I know Chaos are super unforgiving on new players as well as bad at low TV. This is why I'm asking for some sagely advice |

I suggest you save your money for future. Pixels die every now and then, and when warrior dies, you really want to have money to buy new one.
Minos are huge TV bloat, but in ranked, it don't matter that much. They just simply suck most of the time. 3 rr + leader is usually good amount of rr's.
Just my opinions, nothing more. |

I like to have a beastman on the bench so would buy another or get a minotaur (I love them frenzy big guys). Yes its a bloat but they take ages to get their first skill so the sooner you start the better. Also means U R less like to face blodgers which the minotaur will struggle to take down |

My only chaos team is 0/0/3. I think I'd go with another reroll (for now) to make up for the lack of block and ball-handling. Later on you can always dismiss it. |

I'd keep the cash. For starter Chaos I'd give pretty much everyone who skills up Block first. It makes such a big difference in performance and especially as this is a Ranked team so building up killers early could cost you some time in finding games. |

The chaos mino is a much better big guy than most others, because of M access on normals. He only needs 16 spps to become a guy who can clawpomb blitz with ST6, and tentacles can come in handy as well.
I could imagine getting one, though maybe after your warriors have 2 skills or so. |

Reroll. Low TV chaos really need as many as they can get their hands on.
And remember to accept the journeyman, so you still have 11 players for the next match.

Buy a mino or nothing, depends if you want a mino or not.
Use the apo to save badly hurts in the first half for the next couple of games.
Get some skills. |

The mino changes the team playstyle. I'm on the side of "minos never more" but they do make some sense in an almost rookie team, being your best blitzer while you develop a decent one. Might be worth a try if you are willing to play some games and test it.
Having read your bio i'd say a mino is the right player for you. |

Minotaurs are fun. Chaos is really boring in the beginning, so it's good to have one fun guy. As long as he's block/blitzing he's pretty decent (doesn't lose tackle zones or takes root). One of the better big guys.
The threat of frenzy will keep other players 'honest' and bunched up. |

I will go with the "minotaurs are fun" camp. If you are intent on winning every game and having the leanest, meanest team possible, it's probably not the best option. If you are looking for a fun, bashy team, the minotaur can handle your head-caving-in duties while the rest of the team plays ball to earn their first few skills.
Once you have bashy beastmen and CWs, you can consider not replacing a dead mino. |
