Oh, and when people asked about why both stab and frenzy on the Fanatic of Khorne, its for the fluff. Worshippers o Khorne like big pointy weapons. Same thing for the claw on the not otherwise bashy Fanatic of Slaanesh |

Inspired by the recent introduction of the Halfling Pros (which, utterly rock, in my opinion, btw), I started thinking again about my team idea, the Chaos Dregs, and I'm thinking I might have some ideas for changes to make them more acceptable/better.
So I hope it isn't gauche, but I've decided to bring up the team again. (Obviously, I hope bringing it back up isn't gauche, the team, obviously, is quite gauche. )
Here is my new idea: (will also update it at the top) (skills is parentheses are on doubles)

0-1 Fanatic of Tzeentch 5/2/3/6 Stunty, Dodge, Hypnotic Gaze, Pro, Disturbing Presence MG (P) 75k
0-1 Fanatic of Nurgle 4/3/1/8 Regeneration, Stunty, Foul Appearance, Stand Firm MS (G) 65k

Changed out a few things, and added the Cult Leader, so instead of having two big guys, they have one big guy, and one, medium guy, I suppose.
Fluff for Cult Leader: The Chaos powers are, of course, not unaware of their influence. Of course, it is better if their victims . . . er converts, the dregs credit Chaos for their change into a better for, rather than blame it for their destruction. A few fanatic converts can't be counted upon to keep everyone in line, thus it is the duty of the cult leader to keep them in line . . . errrr show them the power and benefits of chaos.
Cult Leader Design: NOt a stunty itself, but not as powerful as a normal big guy either, the Cult Leader makes up for it in having a lot of options for development. Their innate abilities are a combination of those associated with the powers of Chaos |

Way better team design before the Cult Leader. He puts this team WAY over the top (2 ST5 and THREE ST3?!).
Your Feb. 24 team roster looked the most promising. |

It would be removing one of the Lesser Fiends, so it would be only 1 ST5. It seemed as if the old roster was too bland, nothing for people to get excited about, so I wanted to add some flash.
Okay, so forget the Cult Leader, and go back to two Lesser Fiends, the other changes were:
Fanatic of Khorne: removed stab, added Wild Animal and Mighty Blow, +5k in cost
Fanatic of Tzeentch added Pro, passing access on doubles, +5k in cost
Fanatic of Nurgle, +1 ST, -1 AG, added stand firm, and G access on doubles, +5k cost |

I think this would really be a different kind of stunty team, as the positionals require skilling, but might lead to something interesting.
Also, it keeps the roster simple, similar to chaos. |

Maurauders cause serious damage in regular blood bowl. They would dominate completely in Stunty.
And compare them to the other positionals in the other teams:
0-2
Leprechaun 60k 6 1 3 7 Stunty, Dodge, Right Stuff, Strip Ball G A (GP)

Those "basic" linos are looking like a steal at 50k compared to these

so after gaining 51 spp they could be a threat...
I'm not buying it.
I think Mecha Vermin are much better.
The saws & whatnot are much more deadly.
But maybe 40k for dregs & 75k for marauders then... |
