I'm from Essex so wrong again |
Okay...so your avatar location of "Near Manchester" is just a mis-type.
To help you understand I would describe the scenario as follows....
You have just stolen a guys car (being from Manchester). Then you run over the owners neck.
It's broken. An apoth is the emergency medic that runs over to put the brace around his neck.
Regenerate is the guy that lays in hospital in traction, because of your driving, for 6 months.
See the difference?
BTW I once had a car stolen from Manchester. I'm not suggesting it was you, but can I have my cd's back? |

Sorry Anadrael (is that a laxative or a headache cure?) I just couldn't resist the last post.
I know you were probably just giving ideas, or thoughts or whatever, but I couldn't resist!! |

no vault plx..thank you
I mean.. dps get nerfed, rsc gets removed, pick your mvp, dwarves who trim their beards (am i the ONLY one who thinks that idea is not only STUPID but incredibly NOT dwarflike as well?) and most importantly... DP GETS NERFED! No. No. No and triple no.
ow.. and ff gets screwed, and so on.. basically it removes nigh all the rpg like elements from the game.. makes team management a walk in the park. |

DP gets nerfed! YAY! Finally! The most overpowered skill left in the game finally gets what's coming to it! Same for RSC! |

But at least Claw/RSC is a "double double" combo... a little more difficult to get than DP... |

Maybe it's metaphysical. Maybe the player never really died, he just started to but the apothecary [read: God] decided that it was not yet the players time, and saved him a split second after that minotaur started using the poor player as a trampoline for his claws...

...then why usually his time comes early in the next half, when the apo (read: God) is gone?
And shouldn't then apo (read: God) be omnipresent? Why should I buy his services once per match? And what the hell does the apo (read: God) care about 50k gold pieces anyway????

Isn't Jervis a Brit? If so, wouldn't he rather have a Jaguar than a Porsche? |

Just for the record, Vault 1.7 is out - DP has been nerfed, but IGMEOY is gone, so you can foul far more often. Sending offs will happen on doubles (have to check that bit for 1.7). Niggling Injuries are now a permanent +1 to all injury rolls (and they stack, too). Nasty, but won't be that common.
Apothecary is a reroll on the Injury table (do you fell lucky, punk?), meaning you'll only risk it on RIPs or retirable injuries. |

Doubles on either AV or INJ, though, so send-offs now happen approximately 1/3 times, even on the first foul. And I believe that if you roll doubles on both AV and INJ that player is banned from playing the next match as well (only 1 in 36, but hey, same odds as a double skull. ).
Might be outdated though. |
