The Elf Masters is officially recruiting!
This is an Elf only league, where teams compete for 5 titles: Master of Dark elves, Master of Elves, Master of High Elves, Master of Wood Elves, and the Grand Master of Elvenkind.
Currently recruiting both rookie and advanced teams. Do you love elfballing? Do you want to improve your balling skills? Do you want to kill as many elves as possible? You are welcome, does not matter your playstyle. You may bash, you may stall, you may foul, or you can be the noble passer of the league. Lets show the Old World how different elves can be!
Bring in Rookie teams, as Rookie tournament will kick off as soon as I see fit.
Planned structure of the Rookie tournament schedule:
4 round swiss
Bowl for the top2 in each race
top4 single elimination to crown the Grand Master of Elvenkind
Bring in Advanced League teams as well, play friendlies with it, develop it, as advanced tournament is also planned later.
The Elf Masters group page is here:

You can apply here:
http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=8799&p=members
Rules:
- Only League teams may apply.
- Teams allowed are: Dark elf, Elf, High elf, Wood elf.
- Treeman is not allowed. Teams may have only elves.
- No optional rule applied.
- No restriction of inducement.
- No restriction of skill selection.
- You can bash, you can foul, you can stall, whatever it takes.
- Coaches are encouraged to use a theme for the team. It is not mandatory, but if you prioritize leap or frenzy, then you may name your team as "Lambeau Leapers" or "Frenzied Foresters. (Avoid dodge/block as they are obvious. Use skill in the name you really value more than others do, even if you wont choose as 1st or 2nd skill.)
- Coaches are encouraged to interact during and between games. |

Maybe. I am not sure. Maybe if somebody does that in ranked, then would like such league. Anyway, the spirit of the Elf Masters is to show how different elves can be, not how similar. An environment separated from Ranked division, and its limitations will help enhancing this ethos.
Please note, that the league promotes having different kind of elven teams. As people want to win, be they have a motivation to be the best of a kind, and it is easier to achieve with an elven race where there are few teams, in contrast to a different elven race where there are more teams in the league.
Plus the league ethos promotes camaradie among the races, as the winner will pass his Master title to the runner up in that race to assume the greater title, the Grand Master of Elvenkind. |

Yes, both rookie and advanced teams are welcome! I have started with a rookie team, but recently moved 2 league teams to the Elf Masters league. If you want to play friendly, now you may face opposition. |

Welcome Anzelak!
----------------
Good news, recruitment is advancing. We are currently at 9 rookie teams eligible for rookie league (and 5 other teams), and have 2 coaches interested. So we are heading to the right direction - to have about 16 teams.
As of now the racial composition of the league looks like as follows:
Dark elf - 4
High elf - 3
(pro) Elf - 1
Wood elf - 1
So the competition looks to be fierce among dark elves, and is currently soft for pro elves and wood elves. BRING YOUR WOODIES, PRO ELVES - Or just bring your elven teams no matter! |

As per current status, the league needs 2 more coaches to kick off. 16 coaches was my original vision, and we are very close to that. (Of course, I would accept applications beyond that.)
Bring your elves, join the Elf Masters, and be the Grand Master of Elvenkind, or the Master of one of the 4 elf races. |
