with two Grids nearly filled (and many games played), I started reviewing which team i would push forward. with a little more time this summer, i considered starting an adoption Ranked team for prep towards the Big time tournaments, starting with a rookie rumble and progressing towards The BIG ONE! So, who wants on board? Which team should I form for this purpose? Any good names?
Remember, This will become my PRIMARY tournament team and i want as many fans as i can get.
here is the Team
For those unfamiliar with the process, here is the group

Want to make it a really big challenge and go with a forlorn team? |

I vote Orcs!
A solid team that could get real interesting with a bit of variation in skill choices.
Same could be said for elfs, probably AV8 elfs. |

I must admit I too think it has a nice touch to have a team of human players "adopted" by actually human coaches.
Edit:
And yet I voted chaos, because chaos pact is just awesome for such projects. Well, depending on how competitive the coaches are willing to build "their" players, obviously. They are also a forlorn race. |

I really like the idea of trying to un-forlorn a team. |

Humans definitely. Our own race is forlorn? That just doesn't seem right, so humans are imperitave. |

Looks an interesting idea. But looking at the group, how exactly does it work? Skill choices? Player types? etc etc. |

If I am getting this, each coach who wants to be involved gets a player, and they basically own that player, and choose all skills, and provide all bio and pictures for the player. At least that is what it looks like, someone correct me if I'm wrong. |

You're correct, even though it's of course always up to the coach how far he goes and what (other) artificial restrictions he puts on the team. To qualify for the Adoption Center, player development should indeed be fully taken care of by the adopting coach. |
