I can only answer as a foreigner, but I'm starting to think that barbecue is a good indicator - the less bullshits you have to do with the meat, the better it is.
In Italy, is salt and oil.
In Brazil, is salt and beer.
Here they put a fuckton of sauces. and they put more when it's on the plate |
