Cheers here's another, a review of a great game vs Azure:
http://youtu.be/kTnK7IMeaeA
I think what I'd like to do is maybe run a commentary with somebody on one of the major games (i.e. a live commentary) but to be honest that'll take a bit more planning than I'm perhaps available for at this moment in time. Maybe in the coming weeks.... would need somebody to commentate with me though. |

Did a whole game, but this version isn't high enough resolution to be useful, I think. Experimenting with different bps to reduce the time needed for the computer to create the video, which is taking a while with the software I'm using:

Redone at high res, so all the letters can be read. Just need 48 hours after recording each video - overnight one night to make the video, then overnight the next night to upload! |

I just popped in as I needed a link in my inbox :p
Great to see others are taking up after me. Wish you all the luck! So to sann0638 and Chainsaw nice work. I sucked at in the beginning too, but you will get better with your voice and everything.
As for video, audio and video edition then I can tell what I did:
I used Camtasia as it is easy to use. It record both video and voice. The important part is you can split your voice into system voice and mic voice.
This is important as you either want to remove noise or lower/increase your own voice. Make sure that all your videos have same level of voice and try to match your volume voice to other youtube users. It gets annoying for new users coming to your channel if you need to turn up or down the voice.
Also Camtasia can do simple intros as I have in mine.
Video tool setting in record: Techsmith screen codec 2, screen capture at 30 frame rate
Each Video recorded was around 10 to 20GB
I have started to make videos again, just not Blood Bowl.
I now use DXTory as Camtasia does not allow to record fullscreen in games. It is quite a powerful program which is better that Camtasia in my opinion. Does require a bit more of tweaking to get it to work compared to Camtasia.
Dxtory video settings:
Codec: UtVideo YUV420 BT.601 VCM (Have only tried 30fps so far, but thinking of going 60fps)
Audio Codec: PCM at PCM 44100 Hz, 16 bit, stereo (I use same setting in Camtasia)
When the recording is done, you need to in your folder to right click on your video and extract audio stream. The reason is that so you get both system and mic voice.
I then use Sony Vegas Pro to edit my video. Adobe Premire Pro or what ever it is called should be as good.
A little tip for both you. When you have recorded your mic voice, then run it through Audacity and remove background noise. It make so that even a crap 5$ mic can sound professional. Just search on google on how to remove background noise with Audacity and you will find guides on how to do it exactly.
Get a logo for your channel, your video etc., it looks cooler Qaz did mine and I am damn happy about it.
And get GIMP2 for photo editing.
A little self promo for those that misses my voice. This time I am going to play J.U.L.I.A. Among the Stars. It is a sci-fi adventure point and click game.

Also if anyone need any help with video editing and such, I will be more than willing to help. But send me a PM on Youtube or tweet me as I am not really here.
Edit: Thanks for still remembering me :p |
