Hi,
My Witch Elf rolled 3+3 for first skill, and I'm not sure if it's better to take already a Double skill or she need first Normal skills to protect/fast her to next skills.
All thoughts will be highly appreciated |

I would pick juggernaut. But MB is also great. |

MB. Witch Elves eat people. The sooner they have the power skills the better. |

Depends on other skills and alot on the format.
But in long league play. I think Juggernaut is by far the best choice. Get skills like leap and side step and you have a monster though you might want to take block as 2nd skill. Remember that juggernaut and block combines against wrestle. |

Nerves of Steel.
Whom better to run your ball than the Witch!? For she has Dodge and has 2 chances to block herself free from obstructers. Give her Block and she will be a devastating ball carrier - just be careful when blocking - make sure you only 2d with her, if you cant do that dodge!
But it depends how you play your offence/defence. And you shouldnt listen to me anyway |

I think some of you misses the point. Witches in my playbook are:
- Not damage dealers.
- Not Wrestle counters.
- Not ball carriers. Frenzied ballcarriers are asking for trouble most of the time.
What they are is very simply: Surfing machines
The deal of juggernaut is increasing the change of a push. So the ideal skill route in my book would be: Juggernaut, Wrestle, Dauntless, Pro, Side step - not necessarily in that order
(Assuming exactly one double, and no stat.)
Mighty blow is only better choice IF you roll another double, and take Piling on. Otherwise Juggernaut is the better one. So you decide if you bet on double. The funny scenario is if your second double is a double 5 or double 6. If you accept the stat in that case, then you would have better taking juggernaut than mighty blow.
Accounting all the facts, if you took MB on 1st roll, then you have 5 rolls each having 4/36 chance of cashing in on your gamble. (Assuming you don't decline a stat for piling on.) |

Juggernaut is all about the surfing but WEs are versatile players and should be used as such. Side step might be the best choice for 2nd skill. But I would pick up block first for protection, damage and the added bonus of knocking down wrestlers on blitzes.
Juggernaut ads many nice options: Push stand firmers, knock down wrestlers on blitzes if you have block, better chain push options in general play and when OTS-ing.
Juggernaut also combines well with strip ball for example.
But of cause it all depends on playing style, other skills etc.
But I do firmly believe that juggernaut is far better than any other skill for WEs in progression formats. It is also much more fun than MB. |

How about Grab? for surfing side steppers. Could be second double after Juggs, or take it now. |
