2+ with reroll to Long Bomb with 2+ to negate INT.
Had a league thrower like that but it is still elusive for the Buccaneers. |
That would be sweet, but you'll probably have to settle for HMP and some diving catch! |

Good luck Rat. Once you get to 1500-1600tv please challenge one of my Ogre teams (I usually have one in that range) and we'll do the Ogre challenge: Zero Ogres vs Six! |

Also, might this push you into Team Ogre? They won't live forever but while they are living you don't necessarily need catcher for offensive purposes. |

Yeah, I doubt I'll replace that catcher when he dies. No point retiring him though, the team is only sitting at 1030tv with 3 rerolls and an apothecary.
Playing Dark Elves, even against an inexperienced opponent was a pretty uphill fight. Need to get some mighty blow pretty quick... right now the team feels like AV8 elves where everyone took an -ag. |

Your adherence to the rule of 5 stupidity has shafted your Human team.
Seriously, it's getting ridiculous. |

Correct spelling would be "Guideline of 5", but that is too wordy. People use the word rule, cause it is short, and not because you HAVE TO follow it 100%. |

What's ridiculous is that you are such a believer of this rule that you don't even see where you are following it.
Whatever, build your teams however you want. |

It's a rule, not a law - rules can be broken, you just have to risk player #6 to one opening blitz. Put him in the middle for maximum retaliation, or use an asymetric defense and force the Blitz to your strong side.
If your oppo doesn't have a serious killer, odds are against losing him. Besides, if he's nothing special, it's no big deal. There are ways to work this so it's not a huge disad (and possibly works to your advantage if your opponent values bash over position). |

The down fall of the rule of 5 from a tactical standpoint is that against some teams you are in essence conceding the 2 turn score. You cannot come out of a formation protecting 5 players and guard your upper and lower zone.
So in order to guard against the 2 turn score you have to expose 7 and have 4 protected.
Also against some teams you can play the rule of 0 and place all 11 on the LOS and dare them to get into a blocking war. |
