I've seen allot of people asking about casualties and thought I'd write this topic up. This is just for those who do not know or who haven't read the updated rule book.
Fouling DOES NOT give spp's anymore! So keep your fouls handy for when they are really neccesary folks.
Also, you DO NOT recieve spp's for a casualty due to pushing a player off the pitch.
Furthur more, you DO NOT recieve spp's for dodging or GFI casualties.
And finally, the only way to cause a casualty and GET spp's for it, is to block someone.
Note on blocking: Even if you are the one being blocked you can get a casualty. ie: if someone blocks you and they get an attacker down result (skull) and get Badly hurt, Seriously Injured or Dead you will get the spp's for the casualty.
(spp's=star player points)
(GFI=Going for it)
Hope this helps all those in question. |

Heh. You OUGHT to get SPPs if you diving tackle someone and they get injured because of it - since it is an "active" action, and clear who caused the injury (as opposed to a regular failed dodge, where there can be more than one player involved). |
