No, because when you fail the dodge/gfi and fall down you can see that the armor roll was 1,1, so you actually had quads! |

In other news: teh Spir0 clone that played the game against the OP seems to have rage retired all of his teams now that he has figured out how badly flawed this game is.
Priceless! |

He does it all the time, or concedes. From what I've seen he's not a nice person to play and I have no remorse for anybody giving him a hard time. |

Doesn't sound like a great loss then if he has rage retired all his teams. |

In a way, this kind of thing saddens me. At the same time I find it pretty hilarious.
As a serious response to this type of thing, there are a couple of things people need to consider before they complain about the RNG:
1. The same RNG is used by everyone who plays (think of this as if all matches being played uses the same dice).
2. There's no special handling of specific coaches. The random number generator doesn't even know it's being used for Blood Bowl. It's single purpose is to generate random numbers.
3. There's zero incentive for the client having unfair dice. That'd be specacularly bad for the site in the long term.
That said, the RNG used is based on very strong cryptography (AES encryption with rekeying done based, among other things, on mouse movements for everyone playing the game). If this was actually biased towards some specific result, that'd be a major problem in the crypto to a point where the crypto algorithm used would be replaced across the Internet (it's used to protect your access to sensitive websites like your internet bank, VPN systems and military communication).
The bottom line is that the RNG used is better than any real dice you can get. Even casino dice (there's a reason you have to throw the dice a long distance in a casino).
To measure randomness, you use statistical tests designed by mathematicians (for example the Diehard tests). I've ran the output from the RNG used in FFB through tests like this and found no bias. The output is simply as random as it gets (which, as I stated before, is better than any real dice you are likely to ever get your hands on). |

Here we see specially crafted wording so that he doesn't say there's special handling of the admin client!

I played a guy a while back that insisted the RNG was rigged in favour of people that donate to the site.
I told him he should donate and that would fix all his problems. |

On an oddly sensible note for me, the level of frustration from strange runs of dice is what keeps us all playing. Let's be honest, if we could just learn how to move the players chess style it would get very dull quickly. The random factor of the dice is what gives anyone a chance in any game, and keeps us coming back for more. There's always that chance, no matter how small, that something ridiculous or amazing will happen at any given moment. I've lost games from runs of skulls and 1's that you could do little but laugh at, and won games I should have been thrashed in when rolling crazy pow/6's for dumb ass moves. It's all part of the fluffy silly joy of the game. |

I absolutely don't like that you can do impossible things with a 16,66% chance because this can reward poor plays.
I like randomness and the not determistic aspect of BB, but it should be more granular and with more modifiers.
A d6 is not granular enough. |
