I'm a little late but in response to Tomays post. The overall league treats removing players from the pitch as one of the better strategies to play the game, but that's exactly it, its strategy. People aren't setting out to deliberately effect peoples enjoyment for the game. I found it strange that every time I rolled a double on my dark elf team, I was told to take Mighty Blow, but hey, I'm convinced every team needs a killer.
As for fouling. Its written in the rule book in the same text that rolling block dice is. It should not be frowned upon at all. If players are putting fouling above positioning, I'll welcome that, maybe they will leave me a gap that I wouldn't have had previously. And there is no better time to foul than in turn 16! There is no risk! If you I have a player on the ground, I'd be disappointed if the opposition coach didn't foul! |

How many SWL league reputation points for a co-founder of the league?
It's great to see the league still exists, and that Faulcon still plays (though he might curse me for introducing him to FUMBBL).
Hi mate, are you the only one from the originals still playing? Looking at my ancient friends list, Covertfun, Cataphract, vigil and Neverborn were all last on 10 weeks ago. Curious what happened for all to be gone at the same time.
OMG.. 63 seasons... Well done to all that kept the league alive for over a decade.
Only reason I got here was because I am hunting a league playing via BB2, though might return to FUMBBL.
May these junior teams quake once more to the name "Adelaide Anvils" and to a far lesser extent "Bountiful Meadows" (assuming the stunty league still lives). |

Bloody hell, welcome back Rennigeb!
Nah, no curses, SWL has been great. I'd have been long gone from fumbbl myself by now if it wasn't for this awesome league
Sadly most of the really old hands have wandered off by now though a few drift by from time to time. Some of the newbies think they're old timers by now (they aren't really but I guess they're the next best thing) |

Team Challenge - Season LXIII
HAND take an unbeatable 6.5-2.5 lead over DIBBL in Match N, and join FOUL at the top of the table.
ALIEN also beat DIBBL.
Over half the matches have now been played, still very hard to pick a winner. |

Ramchop, could you edit the V.I.L.L.A.I.N.S. name in your page, it's missing "Noble". |

Faulcon (season 1) and JoeKano (season 3) are the earliest serving coaches currently playing. Toonie (season 5) left us just recently, BeefyGoodness and Smegish (season 6), and Longshanks and eganra (season 7) make up the remaining coaches that played in the first 10 seasons.
Perhaps to add Rennigeb (season 1), who's finally forgotten the pain of that -ag on his passing dorf runner superstar, in a rather rough 3rd (and last, for the Anvils) game of the Season 9 Southern Conference.

Compare Toonie's final straw, against The Colour of Money.

It's a tough game, kids. Some days the stat breaks take an extra toll on the league. |
