CIBBL (CabalVision Inter-regional Blood Bowl League) is a seasonal fluff-heavy league, with regional play, cups and inter-regional ranked play, making use of CRP + SL teams and CRP+ rules, along with some modifications, edits and possible extras. CIBBL uses a unique, personal ruleset.

In short, CIBBL is a league that runs through multiple phases, each of which with a distinct flavor, all connected to each other, with the Prestige system marking success.

CIBBL, as a new league, will be open for recruitment from now until a sufficient amount of people have been reached to open play, after which new coaches can enter the league in between the season phases.

So consider joining up with some friends and stating your preference to fill up one Region in all your PMs!

To join CIBBL, please apply by sending a PM to me (Calthor), in addition to responding RIGHT HERE in this thread.
To start the league off, we will want to know the Top 7 Regions you would like to play in (there are 21 of them), and of each of them, you are also welcome to note a favorite and least favorite to play with. This will allow us to assign everyone with teams they are willing to play, in a fair manner.
EDIT: Just proceed by sending me (Calthor) a PM, and we'll talk about options for type of team and region to play!
Finally, please note your Time Zone of play. Please keep in mind that CIBBL is ultimately a BBTimeZone/EuroTimeZone league, but if multiple coaches from other time zones enter, we can do our best to have certain Regions be more filled with certain timezones.

Finally, keep in mind that this will be a fluff heavy league, and we will be strict in our policies. As such, we will be screening applicants to make sure they fit with the spirit of the league. Any totally new coaches should be convincing in why they can be trusted.

Any questions or comments, feel free to leave them here in the forum or bring them up in private by PM.

I have been looking for a fun league to join, so I am certainly up for this Smile - im just looking through the page, but im sure im in.. Smile

If I make a team of murder-happy psychopaths will that fulfill the fluff requirement? (ie; preferring to kill than win)

That is the general fluff of Chaos teams. If the team name and the player names fit the Blood Bowl/WH universe there is no problem with it.

I can make up stories.

My question is how far do I need to go?

I'm pretty much FUMBBL. I just need to know what you want. I can fill all of your holes more than satisfactorily.

That question is fair enough, but kind of hard to answer. A minimum would include a team logo, the right type of names for the team and players, and an adequate team biography.

However, the point is not to ask 'How far do I need to go to be fluff-worthy?', or 'What is the minimum fluff I need to have?', but rather to think 'What shall I do to make my team look and feel great and in line with the league?'

If it seems like it is lacking, we'll tell you, basically, but the approach here is about possibility and opportunity. Smile

You should not create the team yet. We believe we can draw rosters to each applicant in a fair manner. Please send the Top 7 regions to Calthor, along with your favourite roster and (optionally) your least favourite one of each regions. The number of active regions depends on the number of applicants. Ideally the league would run with all of the 92 rosters (CRP+SL) but we would be naive to call for that for the first season.
