I Can't decide which way to go with Mandolin the star of my Androm
I want to plan long term and pray he survives to Legend.
I rolled another double so sort of feels like a waste to give him wrestle, block or tackle. But I feel one of them would be most useful short term.
Sidestep seems okay but not great.
Pass seems like I would need to change the way I play to make use of it properly.
Fend seems too cowardly as does jump up.
So I'm open to options. I understand that the optimal skills for cage buster would be Tackle and Wrestle, but wrestle just doesn't feel right on a double. |

Block, of course.
Wrestle is bad, tackle is senseless. Block will make him legend and beyond. |

I mean cool player and all, but frankly...
What role does he actually perform for your team?
Block obvs, what else is remotely useful? Leap was a mistake in my opinion as well, but I guess you use it for something. |

I think you take Wrestle eventually, and JU has synergy with that, so JU. With Leap he'll never be out of the play. Sure Feet is another option since if he becomes a sacker he'll want more range. |

At some point you've got to say thanks but no thanks to nuffle for infinite doubles/stats. Don't worry he'll understand in this case: Block. |

Block, then sure hands, make him your ball handler, and teams will be unable to lock him down.
Defensively, this makes him an excellent ball retriever as well, as even in 2 TZs, he's more likely to get the ball than fail.
Barring sure hands, consider guard as his legend skill. 2+ to put an assist ANYWHERE on the field is pretty nice.
Likewise, Tackle or Strip Ball at legend will make him a threat on defense, giving you elf like capabilities that Chaos typically lacks.
I do echo some of the sentiments that leap was a poor choice on him, as Ag5 with dodge will tend to be more efficient for him in most situations. But now, you need to look at getting the most out of him that you can. |

This...
I cannot really figure out what the actual uses for this guy is.
I would have strongly considered skipping the 2nd AG and leap.
Then you'd have an AG4 blodge warrior with sure hands (probably).
Of course what you do have is unique and cool, but, well, but I still don't see what purpose he actually serves the team. |

Wonderful player, any agi side would kill to have a 5459 player with Dodge and Leap. I'd say his role is blindingly obvious - sacker. No cage is safe from this guy. Ignore the double and take wrestle, or possibly block, next up strip ball or sure hands. With sure hands this guy could both sack and then retrieve the ball in one move. |

You realize his next skill is 100spp away...
That's the problem (such as it is).
He needs 2 skills to be complete at whatever you think he should be.
I mean he is a cool player, and you obviously give him block. Cage leaping chaos? Sure, it's cool, but honestly, it's not really that useful for them as they don't have any way to reliably recover the ball. He's MA5, so not that hard to stay away from for elf/skaven, and Chaos already has huge advantages vs. non elfs.
I dunno, I sound pretty negative I guess, not really my intention, but I just cannot imagine ever actually building a player like this myself, so I don't really know what the actual use for this guy is, because he is a @#$@# ton of TV for a slow cage leaper, who isn't really good at it either without wrestle/strip/tackle |

You now have 2+ leaps with st4. Use that for defensive sacks.
3 skills go with that. Wrestle, Tackle/Strip Ball.
Take Wrestle now.
Then you have 100 spp to test what you need more often. Tackle or Strip.
Simples. |
