So I've played a game earlier where I suffered no less than 3 turnovers due to misclicks, which tend to happen far more often than they did now that I have a new computer and that the fumbbl client feels ridiculously small with my new, higher screen resolution.
I don't have the skills to change the client's size, if that is even possible, and since it has happened an awful lot since I started playing from my new computer I figured it was an issue worth raising.
My humble suggestion is this : if allowing players to change the client's size to something that fits their hardware is impossible, why not implement the option to activate a safeguard that basically says "you are about to make an action that is statistically more likely to fail than to succeed. Are you sure you want to go through with this ?" ? |

i set the dpi on my mouse lower, most mice do have a button where you can click and adjust the speed of the mouse pointer. |

the only missclick i can remember was was a 5+ dodge into a tacklezone on a sure touchdown in t16 to tie the game. lost me the game and made me finish second in the tournament that i would have won otherwise. i went to ethiopia for two weeks after that, it helped. |

just use something like "Magnifier" that windows 10 has built in? Or change screen resolution? It's currently not possible to change the clients size.
and yeah- no pie, no poll! |

That was not a misclick.
That was THE misclick.
Sorry neubau, from all those watching from the stands.

an "undo" button would be great, opponent would need an "accept undo" button too.
I know it will never happen, because it would be abused in the ranked divisions, but it would be a great option for friendly leagues. |

If it's the size that's the problem & you are using windows 10:
Right click the desktop, select display settings, then select Scale & layout & choose from the options. I find 125% works for me. |

On Windows 10 scaling work fine, I play on a 4k screen without issues.
Then another option is to lower the screen resolution for the time of the game.
If you have dual display choosing the primary screen has an influence too.
then again, instead of opening a cold one, beat the crap out of the computer ( and buy a new one with lower res after that). |

I was playing with resolution so far, but this seems to be the superior option. Thanks for the pointer. |

I like it when I misclick and do a crazy dodge, but still roll a 6, then succeed with my original plan as well. Funny. |

Accidentally clicking move instead of Handoff or Blitz in a key turn and only realizing after moving one square is always a favourite. |

"you're about to make a move that is statistically more likely to fail than succeed"...
hehe, i imagine a lot of people would magically improve if this was enabled. |

When i make misclick, no matter if it succeeds or causes turnover (or makes some next action harder/impossible) i mention about the misclick. Dunno why, its not like opponent cares why i made mistake that can possibly benefit him (right away or in long run).
I might get mad at myself, i might laugh (i do laugh at bad dice most of the time) but i might also get lilbit tilted and rest of the game can go snowball.. i have caught myself making more mistakes after one bad play (either bad action or bad turn).. it might happen more often on mistakes that were clearly avoidable (like miscounting or forgetting certain skill or certain guy.. or using guys at wrong order).
But i always try not to talk too much about that misplay/misclick/bad dice, i just mention them and try to get game going. I'd rather be silent than moan. If i keep talking i usually am fine with what just happened.
Ideally after misclick the game just carries on (and chat/my behaviour doesn't change). |

I avoid this issue by never misclicking. |
