Norgul (player No1) accidently skilled up today due to a MVP and I have a really hard time deciding what skill to take.
I now got 2 sure handed hobgoblins and one with Mv7 and Ag4 so ballhandling isn't really an issue so the blitzing part of the game is what my Bull Centaurs are focusing on so I am contemplating Mighty Blow, tackle or strip ball even though Shadowing got the potential to be a real game winner with this Mv7 monster. So what do you think?
Edit: It was a normal roll. |

assuming you rolled normals, then take strip ball i guess, if you did get a double, take sf but consider taking Diving tackle too. |

I agree with Frankie first tackle then shadowing as next skill. |

Tackle would be ok if you use him to lean on others against some of the dodgy teams you play. MB will help you hurt people, and you've already got a strip ball bull, so I'd vote MB. Smack some people around. |

tackle. ur dwars got tackle, but they are not mobile enough. with one strip ball blitzer aldready tackle would be a good complementation. consider a ball carrier with sure hands and dodge, thats where u gonna need tackle and then on 76 shadowing is even better with tackle negating the dodge |

Strip ball is useless against a player with SH I never use it (except for my leprechauns) and I wouldn1t give it especially to a st4 bullcentaur. |

I might actually choose Pro to enable some alternative playing formations. You can use pro to re-roll pick up, pass, catch or gfi even after your re-roll is gone, making your player that much more versatile. The biggest asset, however, is the possibility of Pro-rolling the block dice when you'd like to save the team re-roll for something else (Blitz/pick up, mainly). |

how about going for stand firm... occassionally your break tackle won't work, and u would normally end up wasting a reroll. with stand firm you have a firm LOS, and ur dodges don't fail... well, don't cause a Turn Over anyway...

wizard names it...pro is a good skill but a waste in this state of development, stand firm is better but u usually dont put bulls on the los and i think he wants to use him as a blitzer...so asap |

I went with popular opinion and picked Tackle, shadowing will follow... |

how do you use your bulls? that is usually the best way to decide what to take, i have a MV8 one i use for scoring with, and a standard MV 6 one that i use to bash people out of the MV 8's way. tackle is a;lways handy though, so it was a good choice imo |

Well, tackle will be a lost skill against many opponents, who have not a single player with dodge. Against stunty teams or zons it would be fine though. |

i would have gone for guard, very good anti cage skill but apparently you needed more tackle - egt the idea but with dwarfs not sure other abilities would be better. heads up for pro - like the options very usefull utility |
