I have a tournament coming up, I am planning to bring chaos with this build. But I am not sure on what skills to take!
Minotaur x1
Chaos Warrior x4
Beastmen x 7
2 rerolls and planning to have leader
The Skill rules are as followed:5 normal skills, 1 free double skill. The double skill may be traded for 2 singles but must be in the same player. 1 skill per player, a maximum of the same extra skill per team. No weather |

Block + Sure Hands on a CW
Block on the other 3 CW's
DP Beastman
Strip Ball Beastman |

Im not a fan of Strength 4 ball carriers, because who blocks away the opponents then? If things go worse, a Beastman can still use his Horns to blitz the opponent in his tackle zone in order to advance towards scoring zone.
Furthermore Ma 5 is really painful on ball carriers.
Do not choose Strip Ball. Either the opponent has a Thrower carrying the ball with Sure Hands already or he hasn't and Block does the job too.
Doubles for a rookie skillless team have to be denied. |

Suggestions:
1 x Block on the 'Tard (makes him "reliable", can take blocks early in the turn)
1 x S-Hands on a Beastman (saves RRs, moves ball fast)
2 x Block on Warriors (raw Block power, also can occupy the "shoulder" positions on D)
2 x Wrestle on Beastmen (Blitzers/bal-hunters)
In my experience, Wrestle on a couple of Beastmen is vital for ball-hunting, especially against ball-carriers with Block or Blodge. It is significantly better than Block.
Recommend you stick with 2 x RRs, without Leader. That's perfectly adequate with S-Hands and 5 x Block/Wrestle.
If you want to give Block+S-Hands to a Warrior (quite a good idea), then give Jugs to the 'Tard (a good skill for him). I have had great success with a Warrior with Block/Dodge/S-Hands in a tourney, but I don't think I have ever taken a Warrior with Block/S-Hands only.
Block or Jugs on the 'Tard is essential, without one of them he is just a turnover device.
Hope that helps. |

What about this "big risk, big reward" skilchoice?
2 CW with MB
2 CW with Guard
Mino with Block
Beastmen with Wrestle or SH depending on what you prioritize |
