Hi, would it be possible to include in a ruleset to authorize to concede a match or not? |

because it is easier to avoid matches conceded in league with this option than without. |

isn't redundant? the forfeit option has always been there, and as a league admin you have the option to manually alter scores. |

I suppose Sharkrudi doesn't want concessions in his league. In the client, there's the concession button. So he would like an option for league administrators to say "no concession in my league" and then the concession button wouldn't be active in the game client. |

Been losing quite badly since March when I was silly enough to join fumbbl and after some games I have been really disappointed.
But tonight when my opponent "Kikaze" conceded at half time when I was 2-0 up left me the most disappointed of all.
I win very few games and would of liked the joy of playing till the end to win this one, pissed me off.
Stej got it right when he said "never concede unless your cat is on fire" (I'm pretty sure Kikaze cat wasn't on fire) |

@sharkrudi: if it's your league, you can just rule "no concessions" and penalize people for conceding. NCBB does it that way: if you concede one match you go on probation, and another violation (of any sort, including conceding, but the league also has house-rules on fouling and inducements) bans you from the playoffs.
This leaves Secret League, O[L]C, and other open leagues in League. If that's your beef, you should talk to the commissioner: I'll bet ya dollars to donuts (a phrase which makes less sense now that donuts cost $1) that they'd be happy to incorporate Ranked/Box sensibilities with regard to concessions. |
