Bazakastine
Madvig
MrT and some numbers
Cdassak
Relezite
Morehouse (RIP)
Mateus2222222222222222222222222222222222
Jokaero
Purplechest
Kingvan
Endzone
PeteW
Strider84
Stonetroll
Vicius
Tricktickler
JockMcrowdy
Harad
Happygrue
I've focused on coaches who can play at a variety of team ratings and/or with a large variety of races. If a major gets drawn, I'm hoping these guys are in a different qualifier. Hat's off. |
What about Storr and Joost? Are they just good at gaming the BBT race? |

In the very old Fumbbl days I loved to watch that coach named FischerKing that used to play woodies against any bash team. Put into consideration that there was A LOT of elfball on those years |

Seriously...
Malmir
PC
Harad
I can only really take from the pool I've seen play. Achievments and records are great but I think you can only go on what you've seen or experienced.
Don't get me wrong, Storr for example, clearly very good but not watched much. So there are exceptions. |

In the old days Smess and Fanatic. Now Malmir, Bazakastine and probably a couple of others.
But imo there are coaches on players lists that I really would not put on mine. |

I had to check...
I am 23/5/21 total against every coach mentioned in this thread so far, so clearly I'm great. Let's ignore the fact that almost all of those games happened more than ten years ago and that I've not been keeping up....
Recently Nightbreed has been kicking my butt consistently, should be a sign of greatness. |

I would add Brainsaw and fxiii to the list for sure. DrDeath, too.
Single greatest I guess it's hard to argue against Malmir at this point with all those Major victories accross the various rules sets, and the Box Trophy runs, too. |

BBT has been a bit of a miss this year, with all the new talent diluting the pool. If you were lucky / played at the right times, you could get through most of your 100 games without playing anyone with a CR above 150.
Storr's great, as is Seany18, but when you play only tier 1 teams it's harder to judge. |

Justicium
Purplegoo
Purplechest
Fanatic
Would be my top list.
But then again, I'm out of the loop and I'm sure there have been at least four-five more generations of great players since I was active.
ps: Fanatic is there because of this team. Back in the days it was one of the most beautiful things on the site.
116 games, 100 of which against dorfs, and an incredible winning record. That's the sign of a coach who knows what's what. |

lot's of great coaches on the site, lot's of great coaches already mentioned.
I would add Kingvan... one of the top coaches where I often think while spectating "that can't work" and then he wins
also...wait, what happened to Morehouse? |

Wreckage is probs the best I've ever played. The reason I feel this is his precise positional play is imo 2nd to none.
Tarrabarrala deserves a mention here, butas the luckiest I've ever seen or played to such an extent I still wonder to this day if he found a way of cheating. |
