I think this post might be a bit out of date now. They did post some instructions to make your own banner here though:

Thank you, my current league has a squished banner--would love making it look sharp. I will see what I can do, thanks for posting that link Himalaya.

Clearly I'm not a graphics designer! Hopefully this is better than nothing. You could always add a couple of suitable images to the sides.

Hello, I just stumbled over this topic. Great work! Any chance you could 'adjust' the banner for this league so it fits the overall woodboard theme better?

First order of business,, on your League Page, when you 'Edit Group Info' you see:
Name:
Show Title:
Logo URL:

Make sure the tick box for 'Show Title' is NOT ticked. That is an old legacy item that makes your banner look funny. See if that helps.
