I was wondering if the calculus has changed with BB2020. What would you say is the strongest team for Fumbbl Competitive play directly out of the box? What team are you most likely to win the most games with if winning is not based on your ability to pick weaker opponents? |

Mildy surprised Zons arent down as an option, or is that because of how easily they can get dwarved? |

I guess Orcs and Dwarfs, Orcs seem to be a bit better because they are faster than Dwarfs. Chaos Dwarfs are a strong starting team too, they should be in the list. Amazons are strong as well if they don't face Tackle spam teams. |

Ah yes. amazons. Don't know why I forgot to put them on the list. they deserve to be there. Honestly, if an Amazon team simply chooses not to play CDs or Dwarfs, they should have a very solid record. |

I picked Orcs, very stable rolls, nice strength and vanilla skill set. Technically, you can try a normal pass although not advised and you can attempt a throw teammate. Dwarfs can get into complicated scrums that are well suited for people that specialize in bash. in my opinion. I prefer agility, but I would not advise elves especially, since their dodge outs are deceptively easy in comparison to other teams. Furthermore, a hybrid (balanced) or bash team like the orcs can provide opportunities for cage fundamentals and 2-1 grinding in a more rewarding way. Certainly stunties are a more veteran sort of squad. Another classic choice are the humans or likely the imperials nowadays. I think both actually are better suited for intermediates and up. Black orcs are fun but not great for beginners due to the grab mechanic. |

Interesting that black box and competitive have different patterns in that data set. Obvious why but still interesting. Win rates are much less skewed for the top teams in 2016 Black box. I think that’s matchmaker not rules set |
