I'm looking at the League I've set up for myself and friends, and I see this button next to Invite Team that says Verify Skills. What does this do? Is it something that should be ignored, used regularly, or somewhere in between?

I believe what you are referring to is for resurrection leagues. Where you assign skills and stuff and the team resets after every game. Like a NAF tournament

It's a validation script that you would use in leagues with "predetermined" skills. When the skill settings are adjusted, you can use the link to check which teams in the league still have correct settings and deal with the ones that don't.

For leagues that are not using predetermined skills, the link isn't useful at all (and should really be hidden).
