Hello, today I was checking the IRONDWARF Trophy page:

and I noticed that there are lots of teams with the blue snowflake icon, which have been eliminated from the run, but are still displayed, thus creating a visual mess.
In order to make that page easier to read I suggest to remove the teams which have been eliminated from the list.
The drop down menu could display the frozen teams if desired, but they should not be displayed by default.
Just to make an example, my Amazon team is ranked 25 but, if the snowflake teams were removed, it would be ranked 16. It's a misleading information.

Every single team ranked above your Amazon team has earned an IRONDWARF trophy and should be displayed in the rankings.
It is not misleading information, because they have accomplished the goal. |

Yes, I find those annoying too. Who cares if those teams won a Trophy, that is already recorded on coach's main page, if somebody wants to see a coach's IDT collection.
It's just visual spam, and there is not even a drop down menu option to hide them from sight.
It would be better to show only the not-frozen teams with a drop down menu option.
If somebody wants to beat the top 1 it's better to see immediately who is on top and how many rankings is above their team. |

Everyone who is frozen who is above you is ranked above you. You aren't eliminated from the competition when your frozen.
Based on your idea, we should remove everyone from the BBT rankings who has played 60 games because they're done.
I know all you care about is ranking, but sorry to tell you, those people are all ranked above you. Win more if you want to be above them. |

I don't care about the IDT, it's badly designed, it should be for Season 2+ teams only.
I do only care about efficiency in things and the page is not efficient.
Simple like that.
I'm top 1 with Amazons on the site, good enough for me, and better than you. |

So, the tournament is about getting 10 wins, or getting on top, with as many wins as possible?
I thought I was about getting top 1 every Season.
10-win-with-a-race Trophy was just an extra reward, but not the main IDT goal.
Am I wrong? |

The teams that are above you have a better record than you. That is what the table shows.
If you have not yet finished your run then you can still move above them.
You don't need to look at teams that are below you if you do not wish to.
If you have difficulty finding your team, use ctrl-F. |

I thought that the current top 1 was Doomington (which is ranked 2 but top 1 team is frozen, which is misleading).
I watched fxiii playing lots of teams to rack as many wins as possible and I thought the goal was getting top 1, not just getting 10 wins. |

What a lack of understanding you have. Again, you're basically saying squads with 60 games done should be removed from the BBT. That's the equivilant.

This is the goal, I was right:
"The Iron Dwarf Trophy is a meta-event in the Competitive division. Each season, coaches create teams and play these using the Blackbox scheduler.
At the end of a season, the winner is the team who managed to get the highest total score."
Frozen teams should be eliminated, because they can't get the highest total score.
The 10-win cup icon is an extra information, but the main goal is getting the highest total score (i.e. being rank 1, in short).
When a team is frozen, it gets 0 value in the rankings, because it has been eliminated. It should disappear (and be displayed with a drop down menu option, just if somebody wanted to see all the teams).
Currently the IDT page it's a visual mess. |
