I know a lot of people are going to screech in horror when I mention unofficial team rosters, but...
Is it possible to set the wizard type for a race which is not in the LRB? I recently added a Master Chef to my Gremlin team and a Runesmith to my Mogwai, but they don't work properly - I only get standard wizard icons and functionality when I play. Any ideas on how to modify this aspect of the game? |

I'm guessing he just set "Wizard" to "yes" which is why he only gets standard wizard functionality. |

Well, I actually put 'Master Chef' in the gremlin team rosters when I created them with Scribe, but it still comes up as a standard wizard. I'm guessing Runesmiths work for Dwarves and Chefs work for Halflings because they're hard-coded into the JavaBowl program. So I'm guessing I can't add wizards to nonstandard rosters, but I'm hoping somebody might know a way. |

You're right, Ski, you put that information in there - somehow I missed it the first time through. However, I can't quite get them to work correctly, I'm guessing it's a syntax issue. I use the Scribe program and the supplied blank.htm that comes with it whenever I create a new roster; how exactly should I modify the Team Wizard: field? I tried just putting 'Chef:' and 'chef' in the place of the words Team Wizard:, but that doesn't seem to do the trick. Should I place the word 'chef' in the wizard quantity field? Any other ideas? |

Open the .html file in Notepad.
Do a search for "wizard" and look for the word "yes" to the right, after some html code.
Change the word "yes" to "chef". Don't change any of the code.
Save it. |

Yes! that worked. I still can't add extra rolls for the chef, but I'll take the basic functionality and be happy with it (the gremlin teams will be too busy spending money on replacing dead players anyway). |
